- Coronary artery revascularization using coronary artery bypass grafting (CABG)

- Ross Procedure for aortic valve stenosis, aortic regurgitation and bicuspid aortic valve disease

Dr. Juan Penaranda Canal, heart surgeon, graduated from Universidad Nacional de Colombia in 2003.
After medical school, Dr. Penaranda completed a residency at Trinity Health Ann Arbour Hospital in 2010. Next, he completed a residency at Mayo Clinic College of Medicine in 2013.
Dr. Penaranda is board certified by the American Board of Surgery and the American Board of Thoracic Surgery.
