I believe my greatest strength is my main focus of minimally invasive and percutaneous mitral, aortic, and tricuspid valve repair. In addition, I focus on open and endovascular repair of aortic aneurysms and great vessels and complex adult congenital surgery and redo surgeries. My practice innovation focus is on endovascular treatment of ascending aorta and aortic arch and hybrid atrial fibrillation procedures. Some quality initiatives I have include decreasing stroke and renal failure after aortic arch surgery, implementing a team approach for complex aortic pathology, and improving ECMO outcomes.
1 Patient Review for
"Excellent experience with the entire Mayo Clinic staff in replacing a tissue valve that had been replaced elsewhere less than five years previous. The thoroughness and compassionate care I received from Dr. Bagameri and staff was extraordinary. Now, four months post-surgery, I feel better than I have in 20 years. I wish I had gone to Mayo Clinic for my first aortic valve replacement."
