"From the moment I met Dr Johnson I felt completely confident in his hands. He put my loved ones and me at ease. He answered all our questions, showed me a mechanical and bovine valve. I also had to have a part of my aorta replaced and he showed me the material that he would use. My surgery was scheduled within a few weeks. His team and he were always available to answer any questions. The day of surgery as with all surgeries I saw him before hand and again he was very reassuring. The surgery went flawlessly and he made sure my family knew how I was doing. I saw him the first few days and again he always took his time with me. He had to leave for a few days for a prearranged trip and he made sure I knew what surgeon would be there for me and also assured me that he would be checking via phone with the surgeon as to how I was doing. My recovery was speedy and again his staff of PA’s and him were always available if I needed them. There is only one down side to Dr Johnson. I did so well under his care that I don’t see him anymore. :-) I couldn’t ask for a better surgeon not only for his skills but in his bedside manner or a better cardiac hospital then Jersey Shore University Medical Center."
