• Aortic valve (including valve-sparing, valve repair and the Ross procedure)
• Mitral valve repair
• Tricuspid valve repair and pulmonary valve replacement

In addition, I have research and clinical interests specific to:

• Bicuspid aortic valve repair
• Connective tissue disorders such as Marfan’s disease or Ehler’s Danlos Syndrome
• Therapies to treat complex aortic arch disease

Dr. Cecillia Chin, heart surgeon, graduated from Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine in 2015.

After medical school, Dr. Chin completed a general surgery residency at Johns Hopkins University in 2022. Next, she completed a cardiothoracic surgery fellowship at the University of Pennsylvania in 2024.
