I had my avr, anerism repair and bypass 3&1/2 years ago. I have my own coagucheck machine and do my own testing. I am still testing every week As a full time farmer my work load varies a lot. I also swim, run and bike to keep my ticker running well and keeping me prepared for triathlons and 5ks to marathons(my second one since my OHS was the twin cities marathon one month ago.) My bicuspid valve was a total surprise when I fainted after a 5k race January of 2009. My surgery was April 27,2009 at Mayo Clinic in Rochester MN. I try to have my coumidin clinic adjust my dosage for what I eat. I really need my greens to control my weight. I dropped 100 lbs. eleven years ago and have been successful in keeping it off so far. My surgery was before heart valve journals but is on caringbridge site johnoneill . I hope you can get into cardiac rehab as they were very good at getting me back to running without overdoing it.
Have a great Thanksgiving as we all have a lot to be thankful for.
Very, very happy to hear you are definitely on your way to recovery. It was great visiting with you and Denise last night, you looked fantastic! And so great to finally meet Denise! You are one lucky guy to have such a caring and pretty fiance' and a best friend.
Take good care and sending more hugs and love! - M&M

all of my co workers sed Hi!, every one in the office wants to talk to you
maybe next week we can call you, take care my friend, we miss you!
Wade: Be a patient patient! It hasn't even been a week yet! The doctor knows best and another day is only 24 hours. Better you are there than elsewhere if you should experience a problem. Soon you will be out and about ... and no one will even believe you were ever in the hospital. Keep up the good work! Love, Aunt Deanna
Hi Wade & Denise - Wade - keep up the good progress but please take it slow. Don't rush your recovery - just rest in the realization that many many people love you and are wishing you the best health! Thanks again to Denise for all of these updates. We who are only able to be there in spirit, sure appreciate the journal.
Love you both!
Glad your cruising that 5th floor! I bet you're checking out the inventory room to see what products come in with edge protection so you can make plans on going for that business when released. Just stay out of the New England Market!!
Glad things are progressing.

Ain't it the way... you're just going to have to enjoy a fabulous room with a "vacation destination" view for a just little longer. Better safe than sorry.
I must say, though, that I really missed seeing your happy twinkling eyes in church yesterday. Denise showed up, though, so that takes some of the sting out of it. Overall, your procedure sounds like it's going way better than average. You will make a speedy recovery. But when you start to feel a little better, just don't get cocky and try to push it faster than it will go. Give yourself permission to take it easy for a while and you will actually heal faster... it really won't be very long at all.
In reading your guestbook it is really clear that you have an impressive number of people that love you dearly... you are a rich man.
God bless you my brother.
I pray that you and Denise have a blessed life together.
Good Morning Wade and Denise,
Wade, you may not like to hear it but I'm glad you stayed in the hospital for at least a couple extra days. Boring though it may be your heart is a pretty important pump. It will be good if all readings are perfect when you head home. Patience will pay off! There, I'm done doing my mother impression and done shaking my finger at you!
Love you and take good care of yourselves--both of you.
Happy Monday, good morning Wade I must say you looked "Mahvelous", it is a relief knowing that you are doing great. The dear Lord will continue to heap his blessings and heal you completely.
Enjoy your view and the day. Hi Denise....Hugs, hugs, hugs....Prayers, Praises & Love
your Jello Buddy
Good Morning Wade, I am glad your surgery went well, it looks like each day you are making progress that is great news, take your time take it easy I am sure you will be back to normal in no time,
you have a good day. take care.
Hi - Jess and I plan on stopping by Tuesday night after work, hopefully that works for you! I wanted to wait til closer to Thanksgiving plus I knew you have a ton of people who love you and would be climbing out the doors over the weekend. I will watch on the Journal to find out if you are still at the hospital or have moved (Denise, give address if he moves, please). Don't rush your recovery and have any set-backs. The Lord will heal you in "his" time not "yours". I am always told that one but it is sometimes hard to accept.
See you both soon
Good morning Wade.

Isa. 40:31but those who hope in the Lord
will renew their strength.
They will soar on wings like eagles;
they will run and not grow weary,
they will walk and not be faint.
More hugs coming your way from your fan club Michelle, Sheryl and Lori. Prayers, praises and lots of Love.
Wendy and I are thinking of you and praying as well. I have been wanting to see you, but wanted to be respectful to how your feeling. It looks like today you are doing much better. I will see you in the morning if this is ok with you. Love you pops.
Thank you for the continuous updates Denise! If I can offer some advice....
The hospital and the insurance company are motivated to have Wade out of the hospital as quickly as possible due to costs. He has the right to request that he not be released too quickly. We all pay a pretty penny to the insurance companies for our healthcare so now is a good time for you to realize the benefits. Please wish Wade our best for a continued speedy recovery!
Glad to see you are doing well. Esther left me know you were having surgery. As you probably know I am in Pa helping care for my mother. Love and prayers to you on your journey to get better.
Wade sounds like you are doing great. Glad to hear it.
I sent flowers today. I waited a few days not knowing if you could have flowers in your room or not yet. Now it sounds like you might go home already....awesome, but I hope you get the flowers.
Keep up the good work in the recovery.
Sounds like you are doing a great job. So very proud of you.
