Thalia,

What route are you taking with surgery? What choices have you made? I'm curious, because I'm staring at the same sort of surgery but not as soon as you.

All the best.

Hi, Thalia
Yes, Beth Israel gave me the heart pillow to hug when I cough, sneeze or laugh. Very helpful and rather sweet. Good luck with your surgery. You'll do fine. I was surprised how it wasn't half as bad as I had anticipated the past two years. The trick is not to get nervous, scared or anything. Just relax and know you are in good hands. I also wrote a script for my anathesialotist team to read to me during and at the end of the surgery with positive affirmations about how I would heal well, how I would not require much medication, that I would awake hungry, thirsty and easily urinate. And had them repeat them five times each. Guess what? It all came true. Just visualize beautiful, happy places and picture a person or pet you feel love for. It's amazing how it really does work.

Good luck and keep me posted on your progress.

Thanks for the email for my husand Richard. The book certainly is helpful as you say. Glad you are doing fine. Richard has a ways to go yet.

Thalia,

Good idea getting all that cleaning out of the way. :)

FYI, I had the Ross Procedure done four years ago. In fact, I'm going to see my surgeon today for my annual check-up.

Great picture by the way!

Keep on tickin!
