It and a bowel movement are the keys to getting out of the hospital in a few more days. The pain meds do suppress the bowels so do not be surprised if this is a bit of a challenge. Like you I had aortic stenosis and found out about it after nearly passing out on multiple occasions when starting to run.
ding best wishes and prayers your way. The surgery will be pretty quick and then onto ICU. After a day or less on your way to the step down unit. You will do great!

What a wonderful post. So pleased that you had great cath results. You had a great approach to the procedure - a rehearsal. My wife and I recently had an opportunity to hear two opera singers sing arias in a small church. It was a moving experience. I admire your profession! You have a wonderful voice- we listened to your clips. Like Robin Williams your future performances await.

Though I had some rare complications, I did really well and so will you. I see my experience as a spiritual journey as much as a physical one. I wou trade the experience I had since i grew so much through it. Faith, trust, and acceptiing help were my lessons learned. the fear is very normal. keep one foot in front of the other and you will do great like the rest of us. keep posting!
