Just so you know- You have a great many people in this Heart Community along for the ride here with you both as you continue on your journey for as long as you are taking it and not a moment less. Both of you have become one of the greatest love stories I have ever heard or read about. I continue to feel that one day soon her body will be able to settle into a healing direction and that less medication and better oxygen intake will give her what she needs to make progress
enough to continue your story of which this event in her life and yours is now a part of. As difficult as this is for the two of you (and yes most of us don't have a clue of this) I also have met many people since I began my HVS story who have gone through many changes and some difficulties and worked their way through them or ARE STILL
working their way through. None so Heart touching so far as yours and Robyn's but my Faith tells me that this story is far from over and that you two are climbing a much tougher path where you are fighting the fight as well as teaching all of us a great many lessons. I thank you from the bottom, middle, top of my mended Heart for all of the love and understanding, obvious concern and pain at times as well as Faith in taking this journey with each other as it comes...one day at a time. My wish for you today is that you get a chance to both feel all our love and prayers, get rested when you need it most, be nourished, be able to communicate to one another as these long days stretch into night and you both are able to believe that in the great Universe, God is watching over you both.

It touches all of our hearts as your Journey together continues to highlight the love you share and the strength it takes in your fight to move forward. Hopeful that each day will get better for you both. I am hoping that with the people that are visiting/ the hospital is keeping a sharp eye on making sure it doesn't get to busy with people from "outside" to continue to prevent infection from picking up colds or one of the many viruses that have been around these past few months. I am sure having company is good but you two have been through so much and I want you both to be able to move forward so you can get home! sleep well. I hope too that maybe Robyn was able to get some fresh air again today, that you were able to give her another kiss while visiting and that you remain steady in your faith and confidence as you have from the beginning of this journey.

some fresh air. Just getting out of the ICU would seem to be great for her. I would imagine any sights, smells, sounds along with some sunshine and fresh air would
bring a little joy within her and maybe tomorrow they will have a chance to get even stronger.
David, you don't have to ask for us to continue with prayers as I am sure that since Robyn's surgery they have not wavered as we are a community and our hearts and thoughts are intertwined with yours and Robyn's with prayers for Friday to be a day of great healing and change for the better in her condition. You have the love and prayers of many as does the teams of the people caring for your Wife. God Bless each and everyone involved in seeing you and Robyn through this next challenge. Robin Szymanski posted a note for Robyn that says: Good Evening (Morning when you read this) from Arizona. I understand a bit about that upper left leg wound. My is on the right side and has healing issues for other reasons but I get the frustration. It's can also be a tricky area to heal as it is in an area that moves, and may also have various degrees of heat and moisture. I will be praying for a great outcome from the surgery tomorrow. I also understand your frustration with not being able to kiss her. Here again, a different circumstance, but the same wait. Our grandson was born last October, 6 weeks early. Because he wasso tiny and it was cold and flu season, we were not allowed to kiss him till he was at least 6 weeks old. It is a tough thing to do, but is well worth the wait, and I am sure that your Robyn is waiting for that time for that first kiss as well. I will pray also for a good night of rest for both of you, and for more times spent outside in the warm spring sun.
May God bless you both and restore Robyn to full health in a short period of time. David, you are quite a man. They don't make many like you anymore! Keep pressing on for those great days still to come.

So many good things, small and large changes this week leading to today and I hope and pray as I sit at the computer at 3:17 this morning that you are healing up and ready for some more "Big" changes(like getting the vent tube taken out really, really soon).
