Perry, I spoke with Deano last week and he acknowledged that you were continuing to improve except the for the withdrawal symtoms that you allude to. Sounds like those are behind you now. I hope your recovery contiues to go well and that you are back to your old self in no time at all, Godspeed, Al
Glad to hear that things are progressing as expected. Was in the office the other day and missed seeing you!!! Looking forward to your return and wishing you and your family a great Holiday Season. Kyle sends you well wishes from NYC. The Schneider's
Perry: Continue to take care. I hear you are swinging the club. Please, no. I was in to see Kim this week, and addressing a couple things for her. Kate was home that day. Be well, and take good care. Jimmy B.
We here at the Barker home are glad to hear that You are doing well. We had heard that things were going bad, but Your Dad set the story straight. (He's a great guy, and I love him like he was my own dad.)
This journel thing is just to cool. Although I must say that I began to hurt when I saw Your one picture in the bed. I could have missed that! The thought of what you went through gives me the willies. Anyhow, I'm glad that You are all fixed up and getting better! We have You and Your family in our Prayers. Looking forward to seeing You and hearing Your story in person.
Dr Perry -
I was in this morning for my annual checkup and learned about your recent surgery. I hope your recovery continues to go well and your back to feeling well soon. You have been an important part of Pam's and my well being for a long time.
I missed our annual checkup visit last year due to not making my end of year appointment with you early enough to get in before the end of the year. I marked my callender to call this year in July and made the appointment to see you today.
I will try to schedule again next July so I can see you in December. By then you should be in great shape. Take care of yourself and I look forward to our next visit. John Ramsbottom
Glad to know that you are doing so well even though I knew you would. It is a pleasure to see that you are healing well and taking one day at a time. Rest assured that we are looking foward to having you back in the office doing what you do best, taking care of patients not being one. Maureen
It was great to see you at church yesterday. I hope you feel as good as you looked. Please know my family is praying for you and we hope you get your energy back quick. With a day like this(9 degrees)just crawl right back under those covers!

Your Dec 3 posting brought tears to my eyes---very well said and the best news is that you are feeling well enough to reflect on all of the messages and prayers and good thoughts coming your way. Keith and I are now back in Philly but still sending our prayers and best wishes.
I am sure everyone is happy to have you home and semi-coherent! So glad things are going smoothly. Remember to follow doctor's orders - no matter how good you feel! We're still praying for all of you! Take care!!
Perry - Great news that you are home and are more coherent (off narcotics). Photo looks great. Just one question - is that photo HIPAA compliant!! You have exposed all the med.'s!! Thought you might need a little laughter. Good luck as you continue to recover. Doug
HOLA HIJO---I NEVER WROTE ANY FAN MAIL BEFORE BUT SINCE YOU ARE ONE OF MY MOST SPECIAL HEROES--- I AGREE WITH ALL OF YOUR CO-WORKERS DESCRIOTION OF YOU, I TOTALLY AGREE! MAY YOUR NEW HEART BE FILLED WITH LOVE AND JOY FOREVERMORE! DAD.
I think you nailed it, Perry: Healing, the limitless blessings of friendships, and family. That about covers it. Hang in there, invest in the rest necessary to recover, because it is completely worth it. --Neal.
Perry, Glad you are doing well. I think it is interesting that events like this often make us realize how much people love us! How awesome is that? I am glad that you have so much love and support. Please let me know if there is anything we can do to help! There are tons of positive thoughts and prayers coming your way.
Delighted to read that you're home and surrounded by family, and warm support from all your near sighted friends! You, Your Family and the health professionals involved in your care have been in my prayers. I sincerely appreciate your kindness and professional care you have given me over many years, and more recently to my sister Lisa.
Susan Heath, my sister in law, sent this info to me. My son is married to Pete Johnsons daughter. You helped me when I suddenly had PVD. Just want to wish you the best. Hope to see you again when you are better ! It is great that you have this info for others to read !
Just learned of your surgery.... glad it is going well. Tom just got his shoulder surgery finished Monday, two parts - plate in (seven weeks ago) then plate out, but this in nothing compared to yours... we are pulling for a quick recovery so we can hopefully see you soon in the new year. We will be following your progress.
Perry..I didn't know about this till just now. I had open heart quad bypass surgery well over 20 years ago. It's worked out marvelously and your valve will too. Life..is..a bit more precious for us both now. Were so fortunate to live in this time of medical marvels. I'm certainly thinking of you and seeing my life almost literally through the eyes you've given me . Many hugs to you and your family. Peter Johnson
Keith and I are still in Australia, but it great to read that Perry is now home and feeling stronger each day. We continue to sedn our prayers and best wishes to all of you. We lit candles and offered prayers for in St Mary's cathedral in Sydney.
Perry - I am thrilled to see that you are home. I've been following your progress with this website. Technology rules! I will keep your recovery and your family in my prayers. Take care & I'll call you soon.
Good golly Miss Molly, you look way too healthy for being out of open heart less than a week. In fact you look way better than I do, and I've just been sitting around eating left-over turkey. It's not fair.
Kidding aside, we couldn't be happier for your outcome, Dr. L. Our prayers have been answered. Continue to convalesce at the same pace and the steelhead will be in real danger. God bless you, my friend.
Perry: Great to hear you are home, take it easy, one step at a time. Before you know it you will forget you ever had it except for the war wound on your chest. Let me know when things get slow, I wll come by and see you.
Hello dear freind! The expression on your face in the picture of you managing your meds is too funny - you do not look like a doctor - you look 12 - and that dear freind is a compliment. You look great!!!!!! I told Father Tim about your surgery so we have both been praying and we love you very very much. Isn't home wonderful! Much love, Alison
Not sure we have ever met... but I am dear, dear friends with your sis Lisa. I know how much she worried and prayed for you... and whatever is apart of her life is a part of mine.. So I have been praying right along for you and a speedy recovery. You look awesome in your pictures... I am sure you are relieved it is all behind you now... and you can enjoy the Spirit of Christmas...
Take care now... love to you and your whole family!
Dude!! Welcome home! You look great, and I'm willing to bet those medications have a lot to do with it, so stay on top of them. You sound like you're in good hands with Kate and your parents. We are on the dinner rotation, so we'll be coming around with some food. Keep us posted. -nw
Hi Perry and Kate:
