Larry, Mitch is so crazy! I bet he his a
G-R-E-A-T daddy. His humor and personality reaches through cyber space to those of us who have only met him through this site. I really feel for the nurses...imagine when he really gets fired up! LOL! Tell him hello and NO GRASS!!!
Hi Mitch..... Warren and I have been keeping posted through your blog by your devoted friend Larry...we are so thrilled for you that your surgery is over...successful ....and that you are on the road to recovery...we have full confidence that you will be better than ever!!....best regards, Maddy
Thats great news!!!! Im so relieved As someone who has been through this i cant adequately describe how your incredible level of support for mitch is He is so lucky to have friends and family like this.
Mitch i cant wait for you to read this and see your smile. Stay strong buddy. I am
Tearing up just knowing it was such a success!!!
Best wishes to you! I went through Mitral valve repair surgery about a year and a half ago and feel great. I wanted to comment on what you said about the heart cath procedure...I could not disagree more. To me that may have been worse than the open heart surgery itself. I hated the cath (I had no sedation whatsover) it was unbearably painful and uncomfortable to me and even later that day I had to leave the hospital in a wheelchair (and I am an otherwise healthy, active at the time 32 yr old.)
You are on the other side brother!! Welcome! You really don't realize it yet, but you soon will. The breathing tube out...ice chips in...and you will notice the big ugly gorilla is no longer around. One of the best feelings I have ever had.
So glad everything went good for you. Was thinking about you a lot. I dont know you and just started talking to you, but I feel like I have known you for a while. Guess thats the way it is here. Untl Later Linda H
I suppose if Mitch just looks "good," ("...I just had the opportunity to see Mitch in the ICU and he looks good."), and you are not reporting that he looks "great, then he didn't opt for the plastic surgery and liposuction package (HA HA HA).
Happy to be able to kid around like this, as a result of your favorable reports.
Mitch-I just read your post and today is your surgery date. My thoughts are with you! I had Mitral Valve replacement Dec. 14, back to feeling 98% and starting back to work part time this week-day one was Feb. 1st and okay.
Best Wishes for a speedy recovery, do take it easy as instructed... ;-)
I am going to be late for work today because, I can't stop checking this site for updates on you my friend. I know I will be thinking of you ALL day. I will keep checking. I know you will be fine, but praying (In Hebrew, that I can't read or speak ) anyway.
