Good morning, everyone! Although it's dull and overcast here in Long Beach, based on Jason's report from last night it's a beautiful, sunny day for Melissa and all who love her. I spoke to Kathy last night and she told me all about yesterday and how good the girls were at the hospital. Let's chalk that up to their wonderful parents. I'll be waiting for more good news throughout the day...Love to all! Sharon

prayers are with you! i had my avr surgery nov 16th and have 2 girls also, imagine the fear! she will do just fine. remember it will be very hard on her for 3 weeks! make sure to take pain meds when needed, don't try to stick it out as its no fun! look toward a holiday, easter maybe, she will be feeling marvelous!

I knew about recall your mom mentioning about your heart condition when we were painting together. However, I was surprised when she told me just a few days ago that you were going to have to have surgery. Didn't want to miss saying good luck before you leave for your surgery so....good luck. Best advice - take pj's rather than a nightie and definitely an I-pod or some such thing for soothing entertainment. Listening to your own music will really help calm your nerves.
