I too am 52, live in Homer Glen, IL and I had the same procedure as you in July 2010. I also got a call the day before surgery that there was an emergency and my operation was delayed a week. Well I certainly went through a range of emotions. the next week leading up to my operation was a walk in the park. Fear and anxeity were at a minimum. You will be fine, good luck and get up and move after the operation.

Hi Lori...I know that having your surgery postponed is probably making you crazy, but perhaps this is God's way of telling you that you should have some with your sister for a couple of days. Ain't nothing wrong with that. Hang in there...things are just fine here. Thinking of you.
