Hi Dr. Barta, I cried multiple times since, was very sad about what you and your kids are going through. I asked all my family to pray for Lori but God has other plans. I got to know her a little bit more recently. She was a wonderful and kind person. I'll always remember her for her kind smile, her great sense of style and her compassion for kids with special needs. Its not fair to have such a thing happening to such good people. I salute your courage. I still can't believe this kind of surgery going horribly wrong on a young and healthy person. My heart and prayers go out for you and your family. God bless you and your kids. Adam, I have been following Lori's story since her first journal entry on this site to your most recent post at 11:30 AM. I am sick with sadness and grief for your family and the many, many friends Lori has. I already liked her just through her entries but after reading the guestbook entries from friends and family, it is clear she is an amazing woman. I have been camping with a group of friends, nobody who knew Lori personally, but there was a campsite 22 people strong on the Kern river who prayed and sent healing light to Austin. When the girls are ready, I hope they can read what was written about their mother, a true testament to who she is. I continue to pray for Lori, you, the girls, her family and friends. Thank you, Adam, for your updates. You have shown strength and are indeed the wise owl.
