Hi Kathy
I very much believe there isn't a member here who isn't/wasn't scared to death about the "what ifs" of pending heart surgery. I think that is why so many of us who have been there like to follow and help those of you who are in the wings waiting, deal with some of the unknowns. I'm 3 1/2 months into my recovery and lots older than you and no doubt, not near as fit. You know Kathy - it's not all that bad. Keep faith. Cheryl, Ontario

Just remember that I am praying for you. My family is also.
God is near. Remember that God is near to you now. God's Will Be Done!
Perhaps I could go see you in the hospital while you are there. Just let me know which one you are at.

Christian Love,
Timothy

Oh ...last comment was not much. I dont know about you, but I feel a bit blue knowing that I feel fine now, but in 60 days I'm going to wake up with no green beer and a bunch of tubes.. If you ever want to visit please give me call...639-9473. CJ Wire and Cable Captain Bill. I'm heading east to Cleveland for my AVR, I was not impressed with local talent, and I know some of them from the lake..

Kathy,
I'm kind of in the same boat as you (waiting for the valve to get bad, but no symptoms yet). I understand how the whole thing can wreck your nerves, because it does mine at times. I know I found a lot of peace in Adam's book and hearing interviews from celebrities that underwent the surgery. I'd suggest looking on youtube for Robin Williams's Letterman appearance right after his surgery. I hope you do well and the cardiologists have good news for you.
