Judy, wow girl you seem to be recovering very fast. It must be all the great friends you have spending time with you and the girls. Nothing seems to hold you back. Remember to take care of yourself first so you can go back to what you love at 100%!!!
Hope to see you out and about soon.
Hugs to all. Dina

Great Job Judy!!!
You would make a great inspiration leader at a heart clinic. I am just loving hearing about your connection with Rina, she reminds me so much of my Punk who I lost last year. He was my shadow and I believe that had he been trained properly he too would have made an excellent care companion as he was so dedicated to me. It was uncanny how he would relate with me almost as if he were human. Continue to make great strides on your healing path and always keep a positive mind. Janet Hale and the Boys

Both she and Rina are wonderful companions, and they love you so much! Keep on keepin' on, and thank you so much for the updates. I look forward to hearing from you everyday. You continue in my prayers every day.

Judy-
I LOOOOVE reading your entries. You are SO aware of how truly smart and caring your pups/animals are. And by your journals, you seem to be getter better everday . . . Woo-Hoo!
I am SUCH an animal lover myself; always wanted to be a vet.
My 3 pd. dog almost died from a bee sting a few days ago. All I can do is stay by her side, cater to her and ride it out. Was up for over 36 hrs. When she finally felt better, she stayed by my side and wouldn't stop kissing me, knowing her Mama was there and took care of her the entire time. But jeez, next time Jesse, when you're feeling 100 per cent, could yah do it b4 or after 3:00 am.? ;p
All my best Judy!
Sincerely,
Meg Jones

the happiest labradors in the world are the ones who have a job! Now that Rina has been called upon to do her thing, she's probably in heaven, making sure her mom is ok. It took me a long time to understand this, but i "got" it once I had my own labrador. I used to think what an unhappy life the dogs for the blind must have. Yet, my labs have taught me that there is nothing better in this world than to "do" for others. Now, I understand that they are actually the happy ones, called upon to do a very important job.
Rici was 'given' to you for comic relief. You can't have two serious dogs! Her happiness is exactly what you need to see the brighter side of life.
hugs to you all,
Vicki, Toby, Sheila, Louie and Monet

What a nightmare. I knew it was going to be pretty aweful, but this surpassed it all.

Judy,
SO SO happy to hear all of the good reports!!! Praise the Lord in heaven above. I love hearing about how Ric and Rina are reacting to you being home. So precious! Really loved hearing how Rina was concerned while Ric just wanted to come in to be fed....hahahahaha...so cute! Nice to hear you have gotten relief from the back and neck pain. Yeah.
My friend is trained in Reiki and I got a 2 hour massage today. With all the excitement of arthritis she really keeps me moving for sure.
When do you have to return to the doctor? Nice to hear that your home health care people are there for you.

I've enjoyed reading all of your updates, Judy, and am so pleased that your recovery is proceeding apace, albeit perhaps more slowly than you would like. It was especially heartwarming to read about your outing today, not only because you were able to walk so much but also because it illustrated the beautiful bond that exists between you, Rina, and Ricochet. Such love and devotion. Be well, friend. Just think where you'll be in two more weeks!

This is my daily hello to you! Hoping your recovery keeps getting better and better soon. I don't know if you will see this or not, but I wondered something. I wondered how it all started...how they found out you needed this back in the beginning, like what your symptoms were and what kind of tests they did to start with.
I think you are an example to us all showing awareness for this disease and letting us all know about it and what you are going through. My husband and I now are going to do the life screening next time they come to town. It is a bunch of tests they do for like $139 or something like that for the heart and stuff. Just knowing what you went through, these tests might help to identify anything that could potentially be a problem in the future.
Our thoughts and prayers going your way.

Judy Fridono I didn't have any symptoms, besides very bad fatigue, which I thought was part of my autoimmune disease. I was being treated for the autoimmune & had a bad reaction to an infusion. I told the doctor all the "problems" it created, and one of them was slight pressure on my chest. So, he did an EKG which came back abnormal. He then ordered an echo, and a cardiologist gave me the news about my valve. The angiogram was done as routine before surgery, and they found the four arteries that needed bypasses. I was very lucky!

Judy,
I'm happy to hear you are recovering. I'm happy to hear you're allowing yourself to recover at the pace you need, rather than trying to force anything. I'm reminded of what you and others have posted about Ricochet: focus on what you can do, rather than on what you can't. Both your strengths and your limitations will continue to be glaringly obvious to you as you recover, and you may need to vent your frustrations about the things you can't do. Do so, but don't forget that venting and focusing on your limitations won't get you to walk farther than your mailbox.
Please continue to use Rina as your nurse. Based on what you post, she seems to be born for the job. And keep using Ricochet as a source of compassion and entertainment. Those seem to be her strengths.
I don't know you, of course. I'm one of the tens of thousands of people who met you through Facebook (congratulations on your number of "Likes", by the way). But I appreciate your willingness to share your dogs' lives, as well as your own, with me. I learn something every day by reading about your (collective) adventures and activities, and you all often cheer me up when I'm down. I get to be reminded about what I need to focus on in my own life by reading about the adventures of a dog. It's very humbling and very necessary. God bless.

When your incisions are healed, I very (very, very) highly recommend warm-water therapy. It works wonders & is a great way to strengthen muscles gently. Don't know if your pool is warm enough yet, but there are a couple of 90+-degree pools in Escondido & one up here in Fallbrook. Warm water has been a lifesaver for me--I can't say enough good things about it.
Hope to see you out and about soon.
Hugs to all. Dina
