A lap or two around the ward! Lovin' it. Just keep moving as much as you can. I was able to do 6 miles over 3 days before they kicked me out of the ICU after my mitral valve repair. The mild stress of exercise jump starts the healing pathways. Woo-hoo! -- DVB

Hey Jimmy, Good to hear that you are out and about!! Don't be giving rides to other patients, I don't think the nurses would appreciate it! I don't know if you have sneezed yet.. have the pillow ready!. I was 15 days post-op before it happened to me. Not too bad, I survived. Prayers are with you for continued recovery.

Wow thats great news. I think between you, Mitch and Nancy, you are all in a race. I feel like this is one big horse race we are all running. I am confident that you will get the best news ever. Try not to worry too much, but I know its hard. I was amazed that my husband and daughters (grown) went out to lunch while waiting. If I was waiting I don't think I could swallow.

Blythe, you have the hard job. I am told by my family the waiting during surgery is the hardest part. Jimmy has the easy job. He just has to show up and go to sleep.
