So glad that you are recovering well. It was good to see you via Skype on Thanksgiving. Sounds like you are in really really good hands. David and I can't wait to see you so keep up the good work with the physical therapy!
Happy Happy Thanksgiving wishes to all of you! Jean, you have truly wonderful daughters and are truly blessed. May you enjoy this Thanksgiving. With such a great prognosis you'll be back online in no time. Miss you!
Hi Jean - Stay strong. Don't let the heperin issue bother you. There are other drugs to replace it and an allergy to that stuff undetected can be deadly to your kidneys. Learned lots about dialysis and kidney function from my 5 years of caring for Dick.
Keep on moving as much as you can. Every little bit helps make the next step easier. Keeping you in our thoughts and prayers ---
Sue, Bob and Paul.
Wishing you and your family a great holiday. Hope you continue to get stronger everyday. We need you back on-line. Come on Mom, we knew you didn't want to cook for Thanksgiving, but this is taking it too far! LOL
Jean -- so glad to hear you are doing so well --- water retention is just a bitch!!! Stay strong --- found a 101 year gal on the web who still rides and teaches!! She's my new goal for old age (I'm getting there -- 67 with 68 looming in the background!) and it's just a great excuse to keeo the ponies in your life!! Be good and do what all medical people tell you -- even when you don't! :--)) Sue
Keep fighting and think happy thoughts. It sounds like you are in great hands.
Good girl for eating your breakfast to help with your strength. Grateful to be sharing this journey wit you...Looking forward to more fantastic updates.
Thoughts and prayers,
Dear Jean....It is so very wonderful to hear that the surgery is over and that you are doing well. You have been so often in my thoughts and prayers. You take care. We miss you online! : ) Much love, Karen
Sounds like you are doing great! Popsicle is a good start (red is my favorite!) but hope they give you better choices soon! I was thinking more on the lines of chocolate cake!!!!Sending you good thoughts and cyberhugs!
Hello Jean this is Patrick Moore my father Thomas Moore otherwise know as Tom Berenger would like to send goodluck to you for your surgery! My father knows you and knows about all the support you give to him and he would like to return the favor. God Bless and stay strong! Love the Moore's
This is great to hear that she is doing fine.I hope she will be up and about in no time. That hospital gives the best care.Has anyone tried the Cafeteria? It is very good.Even though I don't know your Mom we are thinking of her.You can tell her that some day later on.
Greetings and Hugs Eleonore and Emmett.
Know you're disappointed about the median sternotomy, but when they're done her heart will be repaired. I had a bovine mitral valve and tricuspid repair in March and the healing or discomfort isn't bad. Mom will do well. Take a deep breath.
Grandma Jean I know you don't feel too hot right now but just think how much better you are going to do after this surgery. As soon as you are better David and I will try to visit. I'm glad I got to meet you while we visited Dallas and at your birthday party. Much love and lots of hugs kisses and prayers :)
