Jamie, thinking of you this morning on this bright and beautiful day....a good sign that things are going to turn out perfectly and the surgery will go better than expected! Prayers for you and your family and for those taking care of you as you recover.
Hi Jamie, I guess by now you are in surgery and I know everything is going well. I am fairly new to the journal, waiting on surgery myself, but somehow I let your surgery slip up on me. I pray that all goes well, no complications and speedy recovery. When you read this, you will be on the "other side of this mountain". Please have someone keep us updated until you can yourself. God bless!
As I sit here at 7am knowing the staff is preparing you for surgery I believe all will be fine as His healing hands are holding you I look forward hearing of your progress later today my love and prayers to you
Dear Jamie, today is the 'big' day. First thanks a lot for having included me in your prayers group, it touched me a lot (and I'm already more serene as I slept better last night :)) But more importantly, good luck Jamie for today. Everything will go fine for you, you're ready and you are in good hands with your surgeon and your protector. You are in my prayers for a successful surgery and a good recovery. All the best! Christine
You are such an inspiration and an amazing woman! I will be praying for you and your team!
I am always reminded of God's Love for us when I reflect on Jer 29:11. That verse has help me get through a lot of difficult- scary situations.
Today I am certain that- God loves us and has a plan for each of us and His plan is Never to harm us but to give us hope and a future!
So, I know you are in Great hands- you'll get through this and be back good as new in no time. You are so loved!
Hi Jamie, just wanted to let you know that we will all be praying for you and your family for peace, comfort and and reassurance. As you have already stated through God anything is possible. Just remembe to keep focused on your favorite scripture.
You will be in my thoughts and prayers tomorrow as you go through surgery...soon you will be on your way to recovery! I look forward to hearing from you when your stronger...Good Luck!
I was glad to read that someone will be updating your jounal to let us know how you are. Just know that I will be praying for you, Bob and your children. I am lucky to call myself your friend. Love you!
Thanks a lot Jamie, you're so kind, I really appreciate your effort. In fact it was, I think, 6:00 am (eastern time) for me, still early to be behind my computer :). You too have a good rest before d-day, you will need it too :) Christine
Dear Jamie, I will think of you this Wednesday and have a prayer for a successful surgery and an as good as possible recovery. I will follow your footsteps the 23rd of January for the exact same procedure that you will have. Would it be possible for your dedicated group of prayers to add me for that day? It's a strange feeling to have people like you, Janis... who you are following through their journals, going in front of you in this journey. All the best Jamie!
I am praying for full healing for this little heart thing! Kidding- I know that nothing with your heart is a little thing!! But you, my friend, you have a huge heart!! And I know all will go well!! Love you! Will keep praying! Gayla
Dear Sweet Friend, Happy New Year, you are in God's Hands... it doesn't get any better than that. Sending up prayers for you, your family and medical team. Spring Retreat at Camp Allen will be here before you know it !! Love you bunches, Melissa and Larry
Hi Jamie - You have been in my thoughts and prayers every day and will continue to be. I will also pray for Bob and the children - this will be such an anxious time for them but your family is so filled with such a faith in God that I know they will all do just fine. I'll also be praying for the surgeon - he is God's instrument in this entire process. Love you! And God loves you!!
Well, if I was there, I would be your private duty nurse! Lol! We would laugh a lot and therefore your respiratory status would be top drawer! Then again, it might give you a conga line rhythm to your heartbeat. Got you on our prayer list. You are in great hands! Love you!

I've been Praying for you every day. God does hear and answer Prayer. Ray said to tell you he wishes you the best, he has some idea of what you are going through. In a few days it will all be over and you will be good as new. Love and Prayers.....Shirlene and Ray
It is a surreal feeling leadingup to the morning of surgery. Once you enter that prep room an hour and a half goes by so quickly because you learn you are no longer in control of your body. Others have their job to do and you are just there... 1 hr 45 minutes kater the lights go out....and you wake up a littlt after noon.....THIRSTY.......hopefully you sleep while your chest tube comes out....then its on to sitting up, JELLO, and the dreaded first steps....and you are a member of our elite club.

I was so sad to hear about your problems. It comes at a time when I am battling high blood pressure and just had my first ekg to rule out any irregularities in my heartbeat. We are to young for all of this. I will be praing for you and your family and will be looking forward to updates Love you!
