Glad Jamie is able to be up and walking around, but sorry she is in so much pain. My husband has had open heart surgery twice, and he says there is a lot of pain at first, but it will gradually subside. I know it's rough, but it is to be expected. We will keep Praying for her and all of you, the worst is behind her. I know what it is like for the family, too, but put your trust and faith in God, which I know you are all doing. God Bless you all, and tell Jamie to have patience, God will see her through this.
Love to all,
Shirlene and Ray
Hang in there Jamie! I'm told (will find out soon enought for myself) that they should be able to control your pain with the right meds. I'm told on the pain scale it shouldn't be above a 3, so be sure you are letting them know it's worse than that. Will continue to keep you in my prayers, God is good, He will get you through this. Just think, you have crossed over the mountain and on your way back home! God bless!
Glad she is getting up! Everyone is different with pain control. Sometimes it takes a while to find what works....but like labor pains, it will become a dim memory as time passes. We will continue to pray for pain controll. Once that is taken care of she should really progress. Wish we lived closer so we could help out! Thanks for the updates!

Jamie, and all
We are all praising the Lord for such a good report of your surgery...Trust that you are up today and beginning the way to total recovery. It is such good news to know that you are on the other side of this ordeal...PTL He is so faithful and now for that healing touch that only He can give. We stand awe struck at how marvelous a God He is. Alleuia
Jamie, Six months to make sure everything is a-ok. Does this mean that the doc won't let you ride Top Thrill Dragster with me this year? I thought we would finally work up the gumption to give it a shot. Darn!
Glad you are moving along.

So relieved to hear the news. All day Weds. I kept looking at the clock and figuring with the 2 hour time change how the surgery was progressing. Now it's the "every day will be better" routine. Love and prayers from Jeanne and Don.
The days in icu are hard for both the patient & family! Since Dave was "there" not long ago, family be prepared-jamie will be in pain, but icu staff is very firm about not "helping" the pt. Be strong! It is really hard, but better for Jamie in the long run. Our prayers are continually with you!

I woke at 4:20 am and you were on my mind and I have been praying for you off and on ever since. My sweet little prayer warrior Jadan (9) even prayed for you before supper tonight. So glad that everything went well and you didn't have to have an artificial valve....amen!
WOW!! 99 and we're # 100?? We feel so tardy, but happy and relieved that all is going so beautifully for you, Jamie! We knew it would!
