Dear Jamie, What a brave woman you are! Glad to see that you are feeling better since the pain is more under control. I was thinking of you these last days and many thanks to Brooke for keeping us informed on your recovery. You are on the other side of the mountain (the Everest?) now, you are in my prayers for a good recovery and descent :).
Christine (approaching the summit)
YOU GO GIRL!!!! That is so fantastic that not only you're doing so well but you got to tell us (yourself) how you're doing. I reall and truely appreciate your daughter keeping me (us) up to date, but to hear it from you makes my heart skip several beats. Love you and kee kicking...OK, at "our" age, maybe punting...Rick
Great to have a message from you! Brooke's been doing a great job keeping us all up-to-date, but it's so good to hear directly from you!
Fingers crossed - eyes, noses, and toesies, too! Hope tomorrow finds you in that much hoped for regular room!
If hugs are allowed, we hope Bob will give you one for us! Nighty night! Jan & Susy
Jamie - you have been in my prayers daily!!! I'm so glad that the pain is better and the other issues have been resolved. I'm praying you have a restful sleep tonight and I'm looking forward to hearing an update from you tomorrow from the step down unit :-)
So glad you are better! It's all about the baby steps-hang in there and celebrate every little accomplishment. Focusing on the positive will get you through the set backs. We are continually praying for you and know that God is doing a mighty job of healing you!
Hang in there Jamie! Sounds like you are doing great. Soon you will be home and this will all be behind you. Get as must rest as you can. Let your body readjust and heal. It's a slow process, so take your time and don't push it. Sounds like you're getting excellent care.
Great news! Glad her pain is under control, no way someone should be in a lot of pain with the meds they have available today. Keep up the good work Jamie, you're on the other side of that mountain now! God bless!
Sooooo glad to hear Jamie is doing good, now, everything should be looking up for her, now. The worst is definitely over and she will be good as new before she knows it. It will take some time, but she will see improvement every day. I'm glad she has a loving and faithful family. God be with you and Bless you all.

Hope that little, lame joke didn't cause a laugh - wouldn't want to inflict any pain! Love to ALL of you! We are proud to call you family!!! Much Love - JAN and Susy

Hello Todor Family: Good to here she is beating on her own, hopefully she will be able to get some sleep in I.C.U. Remember it wasn't the rabbit that won the race, the turtle did it slow and easy. Before to long she will be right back to her good self, bright and spunky. Thanks again for the up-date, get some rest also. Sending our prayers the Adams Family
Hello my friend!
It has been so reassuring to read the posts that Brooke has written. (Thank you, thank you Brooke). This is some journey for you! I think about you many times every day, and pray for a speedy recovery. I can hardly wait to watch you bowl with your new and improved heart!!
I have been thinking about you so much. I really appreciate this journal that helps us get posted. You are constantly in my prayers. John's mom passed away on the 27th. She was 91. We have a memorial service for her at Vance Presbyterian in wheeling and buried her cremated remains in Davis WV this past Thursday. She lived a wonderful full life and her body just wore out. Well, I will continue to check on you. Look to the Lord and take it one day at a time. Love to you and your family, Jane
Good morning my sweet seester!!!
Been praying and praying for you- did you feel all the prayers lifted up to God? I love that Brookie, Brookie had kept us all informed. You are one tough chick! Keep getting stronger and stronger! Love you!
Hi Jamie..... I know this is probably the hardest thing you've ever gone thru.... From what I gather from your families post and my friends here you are doing great!!!! The first few days are the hardest. Praying for you...sending well wishes...... <3 Susan
Praise the Lord that the biggest "hurdle" is over and now with your determination,,,and the Lord beside you,,,know that it won't be long until you are fully recovered! Blessings and Love sent,,,,Caroline,,,,and Marty
Good Morning Jamie! :-)
I'm hoping that today will be so much better than yesterday that you only look forward to all of the fun you are going to be having! Brooke mentioned that yesterday was exhausting, but it sounds as though Tina has a terrific help! Mom always said that the 3rd day of an "illness" was always the worst, so now you can confidently start your day with the sage words of Anne Price....! Moms are unofficial doctors, right?
We knew that your family would rally around and give you all of the support and encouragement that you need! Hope everyone had a good night's sleep and will find today full of good changes and hope! Stay strong!!! He is with you, and you are running the race well! Love - Jan & Susy
I have been following Brooke's wonderful updates. Earlier this evening, I mentioned to my Bob that I wondered if there was a way to write a note to you and lo and behold, Brooke's post tonight mentioned that she had read to you other posts from the Guestbook! Don't laugh because I know it would hurt, but I am as inept about this as I am about Facebook! I looked and found in LARGE PRINT, the words My Guestbook and voila! I am so glad you are doing so well. You are a strong woman. Take baby steps my dear friend. Rome wasn't built in a day and neither will be your recovery. Sounds to me like you are making incredible progress already. Soon you will be home in your own comfy bed and that will make a world of difference. Hang in there and God Bless.
I see that with all this love and huge prayer train there is no doubt your recovery will be miraculous. The power of prayer is more powerful than a medical procedure.
God Bless you!

fortunately do not know anything about ICu or care to, but aware you need to work to get out of there. Jamie, my dear cousin, you of all people, can and will, with the help of all your beliefs and friends and others guiding you! Think yourself totally out of the pain....think of the cruise, think of the beaches, think of sunsets, and visualize yourself there. Breathe and thankfully Breathe, And know we all are praying for your recoup. t be better. Have to apologize..had the kitten in front of screen, so typo's are abundant. Cats are wishing you well also, they always know! j and d
We will Pray for "Peace" for Jamie. I know it's been a tough two days, but we'll Pray things will be better from now on. ICU is a good place to be, because they really keep an eye on you there, but hopefully she will be able to go to a room tomorrow. Tell her it will take time, but she will be good as new before long, and it will all be worth it.
Sending our love,
Shirlene and Ray
ICU is tough and a blessing.....I was in there with post surgery complications for 8 days! While its happening you dont appreciate it but in ICU you dont have to lift a finger everyone does everything for you....when you are released to the regular hospital you dont feel as "important"....walking albeit very difficult will help the road to recovery.....a week from now all will be better, a month from now all will e improving, etc etc........GOD BLESS YOU ALL

Jamie continue to hang in there. The more walking that you do the recovery process will become easier everytime. Please know that we are continuing to pray for you and your family. Remember to take your pain meds, and not let the pain get to unbearable.
