Hey Fran! That's awesome that you don't have pain or nausea! I can relate about digging for veins - that is NOT fun! Keep up the good progress!
We should have some kind of meeting for all of us on this website --- that would be cool!
Take care & God Bless!
hi Fran, you are certainly lucky not to have experienced any nausea, it held me back a bit for about three days and I was so thankful went it left me and my appetite returned. It's also interesting to note that you have no pain either, I was amazed by
this. Thalia Faunt, Ballarat, Australia.
So happy to hear you are doing so well...but I am not surprised. Your positive attitude and your tapes also were an asset in your recovery. I look forward for more good reports as you recover. I am home recovering for two weeks now and can not believe the progress. I am happy to report my overall experience has been great and wish only the same for you.
Glad to hear you are doing so well. I think it's really cool that you and captain Bill are at the same hospital. Since you are feeling so well in the hospital, imagine what it will feel like to be home in your own bed. Take care, Melissa Boardman, Los Osos, CA
Hi Fran & loving husband Pete,
Glad to hear Fran is in a nice room and having absolutely the "best of visitors" coming by to keep her spirtis up - if Capt. Bill can't contribute a smile or two, no one can (ha-ha).
Just keep getting better every day!
Richard's wife, Susan
Awesome, Pete! It makes everything so much easier for the family when you move to a "regular" PCU or "step down" room, instead of the more restrictive visiting issues with the ICU. Tell Fran to keep up the good work! It's so cool that you guys and Bill & Lori get to see each other. All the best and continued prayers from Winter Haven.
Dear Fran Pete et al - Thank you so very much for your postings. I have been following them daily and praying for the best outcome and a speedy recovery. I was unaware that I could post a note to you and finally figured out how to do so - so much for my computer savy. I will continue to storm heaven with requests for your continued strength and recovery progress. Hugs & blessings to you. Julie & David Nodland
More good news about Fran's recovery. Tell her I'm thinking about her and wishing her well. Please let her know Penny from Scotland is back home and is doing okay too. We hadn't heard from Penny for a while and I know she would have been worrying. Looks as if the Cleveland Step-down unit will be rocking later today with both Fran and Bill. Have a great day. Cheryl, Ontario
Fran, So glad all went well with your surgery, just dont try and be super woman the first day in icu and try and get out...It set me back in there for 3 more days....Just take it easy and still thinking about you...
Hi Pete! Please give my love and best wishes to Fran! Tell her that I came home (again) last night and feeling good. Fran has been so kind to me over the last few weeks in the lead up to my own surgery. I am thinking of you both and sending positive thoughts for a slow, steady recovery. Thanks for the update.
Warmest wishes from Penny (Scotland)
Wow, just like that-sortof! Congratulations, Fran..a major hurtle behind you....stepdown tomorrow is remarkable. But whatever the timeframe, as you can feel from the journal blogs, there is a huge cheering section back here. We are all poised for the next update and appreciate hearing such good news.Keep those visuals going, wherever they take you...it must be a special place. Congrats on this big step- Lisa, Beverly Simmons, and Karen too!
Absolutely wonderful Pete. I know this has been hanging heavy in your household and as much as Fran has been keeping it together, it still weighs on your mind and in her case, she's just had such a wait. I'm really happy. Hang in there. Thanks for the update. Cheryl, Ontario
Thinking and praying for you right now as you are probably in the middle of surgery....will be waiting to hear that all is well. It will be a rough day but will only get better from here!
I just woke up and looked at the clock and thought of you so decided to get up and just send you another prayer and wish for a successful surgery and speedy recovery. I hope you are sleeping right now but I sense you are probably beginning your preparations for surgery this morning and I so well remember the thoughts going through my head at this time. I'll be checking the computer lots today watching for an update. Good luck. Thinking of you and praying hard. Cheryl, Ontario
