So glad to hear that everything went well and that you are recovery is going good. Please keep us posted if there is anything we can do to help please don’t hesitate to ask we are just a phone call away.
Attagirl for sure. Donna, you are an inspiration. I feel the love of your family in every post. Home sounds comforting.
Vial sure is a funny name for a doc whe seems to have so wisely dispensed meds in the right amounts.
Much cousin love,
Hi Donna: Just heard this afternoon about your surgery from Jan (Jack sent out an email to the "group."). You're looking great and we just wanted you to know you're in our thoughts. Hope you'll be home soon and feeling fine.
Hi Donna! So good to see your smile. You're looking amazing! Love the very familiar heart pillow. My dad's came in some weird elvis material. Yours is much nicer! We're all thinking of you and keeping you close in our own hearts. Take care!
Hi Donna, great to see the big smile on your face in the new photo. Sounds like the recuperation is going well. Hooray! Love your new "au naturel" hair style, you silver Fox. Thanks for keeping us posted. Love, Barb
So glad to hear everything went well.Good news about fewer chest bones cracked. When ever I eat carefully or exercise and people tell me I am good about that, I tell them that there is nothing like having your chest cracked open to get your attention. Take it easy for awhile-you will surely be back to your old self in a month or two. I hope you'll take the heart rehab-you will be setting the pace for the class. Toni
congrats! keep up the good work! your ability to get up and move around so quickly and ambition to do it frequently proves that you are working hard to recover fast.... but only as fast as fast can be of course.

Donna-- I love the photo of you holding the heart pillow! I do know that it also has a purpose. You are doing SO well, and it makes all of us very happy! Thanks, Sara, for keeping up with the postings.
All this news has just now rolled over me, all at once. I'm stunned that this happened but I'm delighted that this MAJOR operation was so successful. Wow. I see how much you are surrounded by love - know that my love is there too. I'm so happy at the outcome!

Dear donna, we hope you are feeling better now. I am so sorry i didn t answer to you earlier this year. I was writting to you to say that i am currently at my parents house and will be flying back to paris on wednesday, so i will try to get your computer. We wish you a better health and send you all our sincere wishes for better health.'
How kind of you, cousins, to know I would care and rejoice that such clever technology would let me wrap my arms around you...sort of. Remarkable "right away" progress you made. Master skilled nurse that you are, I suspect you will surprise your caregivers. Love to Jack and the children.
Doing your prep and homework sure has payed off. You must be a model patient...Dr Vial will probably ask you to counsel other potential patients!
I hope your pain is controlled and that you are able to enjoy all your family. Such a great support group you have. Keep on truckin...

Hi, Donna--I just checked to see if anything has been posted in the journal today, but it seems to be a bit early for that. I do want to tell you I'm thinking about you often and, of course, keeping tabs on your progress. It's great that you are doing so well! Keep at it!
for some reason, I thought the surgery was scheduled for March, so I was surprised to get Jack's message that you've already had the operation. I'm SO glad that everything went well, and that you are already feeling somewhat better.
Keep up your spirits, and know that our thoughts are with you. It will be so great to see you back on your feet.
Marty & Rosemarie
Dear Sister, So happy the surgery went well. It's great to have that over with now. Here's wishing you a fast recovery and I know we will see you your old dynamo self again before too long. Like this site for updates. Thanks for keeping us in the loop. Love, Barb
Hi Donna and Jack, I didn't know this was happening, but nice to come in at the good news stage. I hope you continue to recover well and I send love from all of the Garrity-Engelhardts. We'll follow your news here. xx Nancy
