So happy to hear you're back home, Debbie, and that all went even better than you had hoped! I'm sure we will all be sending prayers for your continued recovery and positive lifestyle changes! - Sharon
Debbie, You are a blessed woman of strong mind and body. Look how well your surgery and recovery have gone! Pretty impressive! And, we're so thankful to continue to hear about your remarkable recovery. Sounds like you have some great caregivers, too. They've done a wonderful job supporting you and keeping us informed. Such a relief that you're back home. Wishing you continued success with your ongoing recovery. Keeping you in my prayers. --Pam
It is so good to know you are feeling better than you expected and that you are home. Your positive attitude and strong faith were the best medicine you could have had. I will keep you in my prayers and hope to see you soon, when you are ready and not too tired. Love you guys so much, Cilly
I am so happy to hear that you are doing so well. Yes the healing process will be long try to rest as much as you can. Everyone at my home have been so very sick I didn't want to spread any germs that's why I haven't been around to see you. But I am still praying for you and for Pat.
He who began the great work in you will continue it. Thank God for answered prayers.
This surely will be a very Merry Christmas.
Still sending prayers your way daily!!! Im sooo glad to read about how well you are doing daily.. Keep getting better and if there is anything you need please dont hesitate to ask me!!!!
Im going to come see you when your ready for more visitors.. I feel the best thing for you is healing and rest!!!!!! :)
Prayers and love straight to you! :)
Debbie, Judy likes to say that when we pray at my house, prayers are answered. So now I'm convinced she's right. She even fasted for you. Notice I said "she", not "I!" Your recovery rate is no less than what we so specifically prayed for. I am so happy for you both that the worst is behind you. Keep the faith that all things are possible for those who believe!
Thanks, Jo An, for keeping us updated.
What would we do without our "family of friends!"
Enjoy getting pampered for as long as it's available; you deserve it as much as you do for everyone else.
Debbie - So happy to hear you are doing better and getting stronger - I knew you had the intestinal fortitude to pull this off without a major clich. You are one very strong lady and a force to be recond with. My prayers are with you and I trust that GOD will take care of you.
Pat - Hang tough man, your support is important to Deb's recovery. Keep the faith going stron. If you want to chat give me a call.

Praying for everything concerning your surgery tomorrow.
...God is the strength of my heart and my portion forever. (Psalm 73:26 ESV)
Thank you for sharing your experiences.
I am facing mitral valve repair and am looking for a surgeon.
I hope everything goes well for you tomorrow. I will be praying for you. Your journal is very inspiring as I am about to have a valve repair/replacement. Good luck and may God bless you and your family.
Continued prayers going your way. I know you will be okay. And pain killers are a true gift from God! Thank goodness for hydrocodone. :o) I'm sure in the end, it won't be as bad as you thought. I always dread surgery, but end up, it wasn't as bad as I thought it would be. Just gotta remember to get up and move as soon as you can, it really helps in the healing process. The longer you're still, the harder it gets. Take care, and we'll pray for you!

Hey keep being strong and believe as we do that everything will be fine and this operation will fix you up as good as new. We will be at the hospital for Pat as well as for you - although there won't be anything we can do for you except pray and be there for Pat.
Rest your heart and mind, everything will be just fine.
You have all the right people helping you and we're all praying for you every day and for your doctor and his team.
Sally and I will come visit you as soon as we hear you can have visitors. You're going to feel like a whole new women!!
Debra, i feel you are in great hands God and the wonderful doctors at Seton. You are in my thoughts and prayers. if you and Pat need anything at all please let me know. this is from your favorite hair fan!
You're truly an angle for giving up your spot and letting the gentleman go first. These acts of kindness do not go unnoticed by God. I'm certain he will reward you. Stay calm, you're in good hands. We love you and are praying for you.
Eric & Sally
It's eye opening to know there's someone who is in worse shape than you are. I hope the gentleman gets through it with flying colors. May God also guide his surgeons hands and the people there to help him. Stay strong Debra. I know you'll be okay because you're not only in your surgeon's hands, but God's as well. Can't lose with God leading the way! Take care.

My family and I truly believe that prayer changes things and that where two are more that believe in God are joined together he is in the mist. So, as we pray for you, asking God to send down his healing powers to touch your body, we accept the blessing and believe he will protect and heal you. It's in his Son, Jesus name, Amen!
Debbie, stay strong and always speak positively, for there is power in the words we speak.
Seton main has awesome and well trained staff. I both worked in surgery there and was a patient a few times. Staff was always very caring and took good care of me. Also Mom had her heart surgeries there and again she was well cared for. I am almost positive Dr. Mueller was her Dr. Im actually happier that they moved you there, since that hospital has more a good cardiac department and would be more capable of handling anything that came up. All my love is with you and my prayers too. Be sure and give Pat and Marry Anne big hugs.
