I have been thinking positive thoughts for you since Joyce Crowder told me that you were having your mitral valve repaired. As you know, I hang around with a lot of bankers, lenders, and title insurance people. You have been the topic of many conversations. Everyone wishes you well.
Darlene, Here's to wishing you well tomorrow. Dr. Sabik was my mom's surgeon and he is wonderful. As scary as I know it is for you and your family and friends, I know that you are in good hands. Take care!
Thanks for the update, and glad to hear the great news on the tests! I am thinking about you and will looking forward to more updates and good news, so keep it coming. and i agree with Pam, i think the booze actually helps, which is good news for the rest of us too!
Love ya, Steph
I do believe that the heart is all good due to the combining of steaks with alcohol as the "hard liquor" breaks down all the bad stuff! Whew, I am glad your tests went well and we will be praying for you tomorrow.
Glad to hear that it is going so well. I am also very pleased that you have friends and family there for you. Support is so vital. I am thinking good thoughts and sending them your way. Love to you both.......Aunt Linda
Hi Darlene! This is so cool and a great way to get updates. By the way...the spell check thing works (or doesn't) both ways!
Great news on the heart cath test! Keep the good news coming. Lori and I will be praying for you!
DNB - You will need to stay on that aggressive recovery plan! My friend, Anne, just hijacked your CMU MSU tailgate so we will now have plenty of Spartans to balance your Chips! Good thing we have plenty of rolling coolers. It is sure to be a fun one! XOXO, Laura
Darlene, I hope all goes well with the surgery and your recovery is uneventful...just relax and get well, the ship is in good hands with Al aka The Engergizer Bunny..I keep forgetting to ask him how the CRIM went? Anyways, Take Care.
Darlene, I just heard about your surgery and I want you to know you and Brad are in my thoughts and prayers! I wish you a speedy recovery my friend and I look forward to getting with you for a celebration beverage soon!!!!
Hi Darlene, I was unaware of your surgery. I 'm the last to know about things around here ☺. From what I have heard you are in good hands. Good luck and come back to us healthy. I will keep you in my thoughts and prayers.
Boy, what a surprise! We don't remember hearing that you had a problem. We're glad you've been monitored closely, glad you're having it taken care of, and so very glad you have the "best" for your surgeon. You will be in our thoughts and prayers all this week and especially on Friday. Love, Uncle Bill & Aunt Margie
I couldn't say it any better than my wife just did, except to say that we both wish you a speedy recovery, and we look forward to hearing about how you are doing through your updates. Stay feisty! We expect to see you soon!
Hey there Lady,
Jeff just sent me your link! Everytime I see something 'Milford" I think of you. You"ll have to have one of your fun fun parties to celebrate your recovery. Until then, relax and try to enjoy the drugs they are going to give you:) Take care and my prayers are with you. Juli Fitrzyk
Just pretend that you are floating along enjoying a marguarita!!! My thoughts and prayers will be with you and your surgeon. I will be flying back from Michigan to North Carolina on Friday so I will wave when I am overhead!!!! Hugs....Aunt Linda
Best wishes Darlene! I hope you have a wonderful surgery, and a textbook recovery. I had my mitral valve repaired 7weeks ago, and it was much better than I could imagine. I was scared, and anxious. But I was drawing smiley faces as I woke up 1 hour after surgery...they had to take my breathing tube out quick as I was so alert and happy.
The nurses are so wonderful, they know all the tricks to keep you safe and comfortable. You just feel so grateful, and I felt in good care, my worries went when I woke up.
Recovery is amazing the first week, some days you take huge steps in a matter of hours.
Be well, take care. You will be so happy you took this step to a healthier heart.
Welcome to HVJ Darlene. You are among friends here, many of whom have or had the same condition you have. Ask any questions that come to mind. You will get answers in a hurry. Just remember to follow the rules and don't take short cuts. Your upcoming procedure is just a day at the office for these people. Rely on their expertise.
Just think after this week and a little recovery period after you can return to your normal ways only to feel much better. Let us know if you need anything and we will be thinking about you. You know I would write more, but too many eyes viewing your wall (LOL)!
Please know that you are in our thoughts and prayers, as well as the "special guest slot" in our church's special prayers request. We're excited about how we hope this procedure will make you feel. It will be a whole new you!
Did you know that this process marks an open door for you to help so many other people who may not be strong enough to handle? So keep in mind...you've been chosen to pass this test. God knew exactly who to use. We're praying for a sucessful surgery, a quick recovery and strength to your family. Vee
