SO glad to hear that things are going better. Mom reported that she thought Crystal looked pretty good, all things considered. I'm sure Reece is looking forward to Grammsy feeling better, even though play time will be a few days away yet :) Take care all. Thinking of you!!
Thanks so much for taking time to make the updates so regularly. We're very very pleased to hear that Crystal is doing so much better - can't keep a good woman down!
Crystal - keep on getting stronger. For one thing, there's still so much of Australia for you guys to come over & see!
Love & best wishes to all the family
Natalie & Paul
Crystal, probably the last time so many people were excited about you standing up was when you were just learning how to do so! Feels good to have the teeth brushed doesn't it! No wheelchair races just yet!
Love you, Twylla
Thank you Mandy for all the news - which is great! Best to you, Trevor, Nathan & Josie and Rick.
Sounds like you need to get moving. I saw your doc - maybe chase him down the hall? Reese would be a close second - just kidding - he'd be first in line for you!
Take care and things will get better before you know it.
We canceled our tee time today - waiting for you to drive the cart (plus the weather isn't cooperating, but that's a "beside issue".
Love to all - Pat.
Thank you for the update Mandy and Nathan. I am glad to heard that you are doing so good auntie Crystal. Keep on smiling while the sun is shining and even if it is not. Hope to come see you all soon. Love and miss you all.
Good to hear she's doing better this morning. When ahe's up to it, here's a little post-operative entertainment for her:
It's singing "gas men", and kinda fun. Hugs and good wishes for all of you continue from here. GT
Thanks for keeping us updated, Mandy and Nathan. I'm sure you are all stressed by now, and if there is anything any of us can do, please don't be afraid to say so!
Crystal, keep on fighting...heal, and remember we love you.
Thanks for the update. Sounds like Crystal is in good hands and they are on top of things. I used to work for 2 kidney specialists and many times after some surgeries patients were put on temporary dyalisis until their kidneys "woke up". Since she's intubated again, I assume they are keeping her sedated so she doesn't struggle with it. Am praying for a healing night and a much better day tomorrow. Please try to get some rest, you will be needed.
Mandy & Nathan - thanks so much for keeping us updated on your Mom's progress. Darn that she is having to work through some glitches but it's encouraging to know that she is a fighter for sure. Hope you know too that we're with you in thoughts & prayers thru these next few challenges. Sending more hugs just in case you need a few
Hi Nathan and Mandy...Thank you for all the updates on your mom. March and I are praying for a speedy recovery and are thinking of you all during this time. Give your mom a hug and tell her that we're thinking of her.
Jackie & March Dusang
Thanks Mandy. Sounds like your mom is following the same recovery my friend Myrna did and she didn't need a pacemaker in the end. Recovery will be a while and heart rate will get more normal as the heart recovers and as the Dr.'s etc work out the right levels for medication.
My thoughts, prayers and well wishes to you and family. - Pat.
Good to hear your mom's coming along but don't expect too much too soon. My external pacemaker worked more on than off for about five days before they told me my heart beat on it's own that night. Sounds scary but this is all pretty much the norm for a heart that's been traumatized by surgery. I'm praying for her full and speedy recovery.
Thanks for Crystal's update. My heart rate dropped to 30 while I was hospitalized and the pacemaker took over for several hours, then my repaired heart got into a stronger beat of it's own. Don't be too concerned yet. It's pretty amazing how well our hearts do considering the trauma it goes through.Praying for a great, uncomplicated post op period. Try to get some rest yourself.
Dear Mandy, Nathan & everyone :)
Thanks so much for keeping us posted on Crystal's progress - it makes us feel closer to get news so quickly, especially when she's making a steady recovery. Please give her our love & best wishes to all of you
Don't worry that the tube is still in, since she's still sleeping a lot, they will want her to be quite alert before they remove it.Post when you can on Crystal's progress. You will see a lot changes pretty rapidly in the next couple of days. Prayers for recovery going your way.
Sounds like surgery went well! That's great news! When you are able to talk to your Mom give her our love and tell her we're all thinking of her.
Lots of love and prayers Miles, Penny, Jenna and Shelby
