I agonized right along with you all during the surgery. I probably drove Jack crazy. I talked to many of my friends about your impending surgery and had prayers coming your way from people you do not even know! Your doctor sounds amazing. It is so good to hear that there is a doctor who will come in from vacation to do the surgery. He truly cares about people! Your progress is already unbelievable. Chris: My own MI was 33yrs. ago, and study of heart diseae postponed my by-pass for 20 more years. There are vitamin supplements that will be invaluable and sometime, if you sant, we can discuss them.Congratulations on having enough smarts to do a little research on internet to find right doctor.

Chris, we are so happy that the surgery went well. There obviously is power in prayer, as the City of Knoxville - Finance dept. has been thinking of you since we learned you were in hospital. It's a beautiful morning here in Eau Claire. Mass and Rosary this morning and walk home with Sun coming up! Watched Tennessee blow a home game last night by one point against a California team they should have blown out just because they couldn't hit their 3s. But that's the Vols. They too often let themselves get out of sorts and loose energy. But am thanking God for this beautiful day and allowing me to stay the course with hope and new life for Chris.

I was so thankful to see Chris awake and eating ice chips before I left last night! It was a long drive home-had to stop a lot for wake ups! I know you are all so tired. My church is praying for Chris and of course I am praying for a no irregular bleeding, no strokes and no infection, but for the healing to go smoothly! I love you all!
