Hi Bev - My grandson, Gus, jumped rope for you yesterday at school (some special program to raise money to combat heart disease). He wanted to know if I knew anyone who had heart disease and I gave him your name - he wrote it on a heart before he joined the jumping.
Hang tough.
Love,

Dear Bev -
I have complete faith in your strength - physically, mentally and spiritually - to see you through this. And what better partner than that amazing, resourceful daughter of yours, who I know thrives on wild rides of creative solutions?
I send you both warm hugs of fortitude, knowing in my heart that if I can do it, and Guy can do it, so can both of you.
FORZA, BELLE! With love,
Leigh

What a blessing for your daughter to set up and maintain this site for you. Cheryl, who is like a daughter to us, set Judy up on Caring Bridge when she went into the hospital. It helps the caregiver too because they don't have to repeat the same update umpteen times. We'll continue to pray and wait anxiously for each update. Blessings.

at home. Dave and I spent Wednesday driving to Laguna Beach. We walked down and enjoyed
watching the waves. Then had a nice dinner and attended a program at the Laguna Beach Playhouse. We will keep in touch via e-mail. Kathy

Great blog--Lisa you're a gifted writer--a chip off the old block! What a great way to keep everyone updated. Reading our USC pre-op consultation experience was fun, and I can hear the entire reception room offering crossword puzzle help--and I learned more words in 1 hr than I'd learned in ages. Glad you had the dry (not really--it was pretty wet) run to USC yesterday so all will be well as you toddle back and forth during the next few weeks. Please don't hesitate to call if you need anything. Irene
