You're at the top of my prayer list, Bev. And, Lisa, I am so grateful you are able to be here with your Mom. It's a blessing beyond words.
Keep your positive spirits and know I am thinking of you, and will hold you in prayer come next week.
Dear Bev. ;I have just gotten on the computer and found out what is happening, so am so sorry to have just called you a bit ago. I have had you in my mind so much these past days and will ;follow your progress on this really great journal to keep up with you. I know I am one of many keeping you close to my heart. Hang in there, dear one! Rosellen
What an up and down week it has been for you! We are glad that they have completed lots of tests and have let you come home for the weekend, at least. This is a wonderful way to communicate without ringing your phone off the hook. Please let us know if there is anything that we can do for you. With love and blessings to you both,
Ted and Joy

Dear Bev and Lisa,
This web-site is wonderful--The 21st century answer to keeping in close contact and knowing what is happening. You are, of course, in our prayers. We're waiting for the next "installment".
Love and Hugs,
Janet and Ken
Hi Bev - My grandson, Gus, jumped rope for you yesterday at school (some special program to raise money to combat heart disease). He wanted to know if I knew anyone who had heart disease and I gave him your name - he wrote it on a heart before he joined the jumping.
Hola mi amigas - This is very little allotted space for us to visit BUT all I can say is the two of you are traveling fast, I suspect Lisa is a her Mother's daughter!! This blog is very exciting, I feel like I'm reading my favorite mystery story and can't wait to get to the next chapter. Relax (ha ha) dear friends and remember both of you are covered in prayers. Love ya, Irene and Margo
I have complete faith in your strength - physically, mentally and spiritually - to see you through this. And what better partner than that amazing, resourceful daughter of yours, who I know thrives on wild rides of creative solutions?
I send you both warm hugs of fortitude, knowing in my heart that if I can do it, and Guy can do it, so can both of you.
What a blessing for your daughter to set up and maintain this site for you. Cheryl, who is like a daughter to us, set Judy up on Caring Bridge when she went into the hospital. It helps the caregiver too because they don't have to repeat the same update umpteen times. We'll continue to pray and wait anxiously for each update. Blessings.
Boy, that heart had better shape up and get back to business as usual--it must have forgotten the dynamo it's working for! I love you very much. I won't set foot in Kimmie's until you are there beside me.
What's this I am reading about you having surgery. Well get in there and get this over with, you have a beautiful heart and you deserve a healthy heart.
I sure will be keeping you in my prayers. If I can do anything for you please do let me know. You have always been special to me and I truly care about you.
Thanks to your daughter for keeping us posted.

Hi Bev and Lisa,
Your guestbook and journal are great to keep up with the latest news. Joy and I are praying for your quick and awesome recovery with God's blessing! We're with you all the way and looking forward to your speedy return to Fullerton.
Joy and Ted
Little did we know when we came over to see
you on Monday bring lunch, that you would be
in the hospital today.
David and I have been praying for you here
at home. Dave and I spent Wednesday driving to Laguna Beach. We walked down and enjoyed
watching the waves. Then had a nice dinner and attended a program at the Laguna Beach Playhouse. We will keep in touch via e-mail. Kathy
How good of you to keep a journal for Bev. It's a great way to keep everyone informed and become informed yourself as to some of the steps towards the surgery and recovery. Lots of different points of view and types of recovery and some very good pointers as well. Plese do keep us informed. She is in my prayers. Cheryl, Ontario
This blog is wonderful and so comforting to hear all the particualrs. I have been asking every group I meet with to pray. We are all there with you in Spirit. God is blessing you now! I love you and can't wait til you are back home and back at Emmanuel.
Hi Bev-what a trooper. Will miss you at my side for a while but trust I will giggle with you soon. What a find to enlist the this MD's less invasive method, I will be praying for you and thankful you have family close by. And just imagine how good I am going to get on my recorder!!(Yeh really)
Love to you from Southern Arizona.
We know you have the mental strength and
faith necessary to deal with this "bump in the road of life". This is such a great way
of communication. Thx Lisa for helping all.
Love to you........Dean and Fran
Great blog--Lisa you're a gifted writer--a chip off the old block! What a great way to keep everyone updated. Reading our USC pre-op consultation experience was fun, and I can hear the entire reception room offering crossword puzzle help--and I learned more words in 1 hr than I'd learned in ages. Glad you had the dry (not really--it was pretty wet) run to USC yesterday so all will be well as you toddle back and forth during the next few weeks. Please don't hesitate to call if you need anything. Irene
With my 2 surgeries last fall I wish I had been as on the ball as you are to set up a Web site! You can keep in touch with the many folks who really do care & yet cut back on phone calls when you need to direct your energy to the task of healing. I will be thinking WELL of you! Love Betty R
Thank you for your information on your heart valve surgery....I was not aware of this problem. My prayers and best wishes go out to you for a very speedy recovery and hoping you are back to normal soon. The surgeons are so competent and knowledgable these days I wouldn't be surprised to see you running down Bastanchury Road real soon!!
