What I found interesting is that you too had Hodgkins Disease. I am a 58 year old female treated for Hodgkins in 1974. Sadly breast cancer 2004 and now Aortic Stenosis and Mitral Valve regurgitation. Curiously when researching surgeons did your surgeon have much experience dealing with radiation? Truly do not feel that this is a situation they encounter very often. Would love to hear from you but more importantly get yourself better.

I just left your boys at Shorelane and they are going to miss their Mom for the next couple of days. They will be purring their prayers for you too.

All is well in Indiana but lots of flooding on the way home on all of the roads.

You are really focusing on doing what you need to do for a great recovery. Great to have the "kitties" for entertainment. Do you have need of food or litter for them?

It is amazing what our body does to heal itself. Just one day at a time, one step at a time, and one good sleep at a time and you will make a great recovery!

Sleeping in bed is tough. I slept in my recliner for the first month. Even with a wedge pillow I believe it was the 5th week before the bed worked. Now, in the 8th week, I can finally sleep in the bed with just a regular pillow.

Your walking program seems right on track. Stay warm and stay inside! Best.
