However, when Dr. David Adams invited me to the inaugural Mitral Conclave in New York City, I had to attend this extraordinary meeting.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp; <\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><iframe loading=\"lazy\" width=\"560\" height=\"315\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/a-0Cs71im5A\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/object><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp; <\/p>\n<p>To help those members of our community who are hearing impaired, I have provided a video transcript below.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>Adam: Hi, everybody. It\u2019s Adam and I am coming to you live today from New York City. This is Times Square and where I am is not actually as important as why I\u2019m here. So why don\u2019t we go ahead and talk about that right now.<\/p>\n<p>Adam: So we are incredibly fortunate today to be at the first ever Mitral Conclave Conference which is being organized by <a href=\"https:\/\/www.heart-valve-surgery.com\/surgeons\/dr-David-Adams-New+York-New%20York.php\">Dr. David Adams from Mount Sinai Hospital<\/a> here in New York City and now it\u2019s our time to go inside and talk with some of the leading surgeons from around the world. Let\u2019s go.<\/p>\n<p>Adam: So we\u2019re now inside the Sheraton at the Mitral Conclave and as you can see, there are meetings and conferences going on all around us. And to give you an idea of some of the surgeons that\u2019s in the valve specialist center here today, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.heart-valve-surgery.com\/surgeons\/dr-Marc-Gillinov-Cleveland-Ohio.php\">Dr. Gillinov of the Cleveland Clinic<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.heart-valve-surgery.com\/surgeons\/dr-Patrick-McCarthy-Chicago-Illinois.php\">Dr. Patrick McCarthy from Northwestern<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.heart-valve-surgery.com\/surgeons\/dr-Niv-Ad-Falls+Church-Virginia.php\">Dr. Ad from Inova<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.heart-valve-surgery.com\/surgeons\/dr-Marc-Gerdisch-Indianapolis-Indiana.php\">Dr. Gerdisch from St. Francis<\/a>. The list goes on and on, some of the leading surgeons gathering today in a community to talk about the best ways to manage mitral valve disease and treat it. So let\u2019s continue on.<\/p>\n<p>Adam: As you can see, the conference is going on right now.<\/p>\n<p>Adam: We just showed you a picture of what it\u2019s like in the main exhibit hall here and now we\u2019re actually in a break-out session. This is where various learning and teaching sessions are going on. You can tell by the amount of people, this is not just standing room only. This is \u2013 you can\u2019t even stand in the room. You can\u2019t get in the room. We\u2019re going to let them continue on.<\/p>\n<p>Adam: So as you can see, there\u2019s a lot of exciting things going on at the Mitral Conclave.
