Seeing the support in our online community<\/a> among heart valve disease patients is downright inspiring. In particular, I love when patients meet at our website and then connect in-person.<\/p>\n

This time… Kathy Blank<\/a> and Candy Wilson<\/a>, who are both mitral valve patients of Dr. Robert Smith<\/a>, connected in Texas.<\/p>\n

So you know, Kathy had a successful mitral valve repair with Dr. Smith in 2017.\u00a0 Cathy is preparing for a mitral valve surgery with Dr. Smith on February 26.<\/p>\n

Kathy’s support of Candy could not have come at a better time.\u00a0 In a recent post, Candy shared, “I’m afraid but endeavoring to stay positive and fully trust God with my life and the outcome of my surgery. I am grateful for the support of family, friends and for an amazing group like this one!”<\/p>\n
