The support and the encouragement that the patients in our community provide each other is simply amazing!<\/p>\n

For example, I recently posted a post-op picture of Susan Richards<\/a> at our Facebook page.\u00a0 As you may know, Susan recently received a new INSPIRIS RESILIA aortic valve<\/a> due to a bicuspid aortic valve<\/a> and aortic stenosis. Within seconds of posting her picture, the patients at Facebook rallied around Susan.\u00a0 As you can see below, Susan’s photo received over 4,700 Likes, 454 Comments and 219 Timeline Shares!<\/p>\n

As for Susan’s latest update… She has been discharged from the hospital!\u00a0 Woo-Whoo!!!<\/p>\n

Specific to her aortic valve replacement selection,\u00a0 Susan and Dr. Peter Pavlina<\/a>, her surgeon, appear to be planning ahead given her young age.\u00a0 Susan posted, “I have an INSPIRIS RESILIA valve, size 23, which will be able to handle a TAVR procedure in the future. Lots of positives!”<\/p>\n

Congratulations to Susan, Dr. Pavlina and her medical team on the success of her procedure!<\/p>\n
