A Healthy Lemon &#038; Herb Rotisserie Chicken Recipe!"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>I don&#8217;t know about you&#8230; But, I can&#8217;t leave Costco without getting a hot rotisserie chicken.\u00a0 And, it&#8217;s not just Costco. I&#8217;m into all types of rotisserie chicken from different grocery stores and ethnic restaurants.\u00a0 I simply love the taste and different flavors.<\/p>\n<p>The other day I thought, &#8220;Hmmm&#8230; Can I make a rotisserie chicken?&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>So you know, I never used a rotisserie before. But, I remembered that my barbecue came with a rotisserie kit.\u00a0 I headed out to the garage and found the rotisserie kit which had a little electronic crank, a spit and two forks.\u00a0 Next, I did what Ethan, my 10-year old son, would do.\u00a0 I typed, &#8220;Chicken Rotisserie Recipe&#8221; into YouTube.\u00a0 Yep!\u00a0 I instantly saw thousands of recipes. However, a video for a &#8220;Lemon &amp; Herb Rotisserie Chicken&#8221; looked yummy.<\/p>\n<p>With purpose, Robyn and I went to Ralphs, our local grocery store.\u00a0 We got the ingredients.\u00a0 We came home.\u00a0 Then, I went to work.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-29897\" src=\"https:\/\/www.heart-valve-surgery.com\/heart-surgery-blog\/..\/Images\/rotisserie-chicken-lemon-herb.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"600\" height=\"450\" \/>Yes, I actually made this!<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><!--more-->Three hours later, we were enjoying a home-cooked rotisserie chicken!!!<\/p>\n<p>It wasn&#8217;t just good.\u00a0 It was dang good!!!<\/p>\n<p>The recipe called for a stuffing of onions, celery, rosemary and thyme which made the chicken taste somewhat like a Thanksgiving turkey.<\/p>\n<p>Since then, I have made 3 more rotisserie chickens.
