Every once in a while I see a product that makes me think, “Huh?”, “What?”, “No way!”, “Can’t be!” and “Really?” The last time I had that thought was when the marketeers at Chia America released… Chia Obama.<\/p>\n

Today, I find myself thinking, “Huh?”, “What?”, “No way!”, “Can’t be!” and “Really?!” once again.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

Those thoughts triggered when my next door neighbor came strolling down the street with her 6-month old baby boy. As Robyn (my wife), Ethan (my 16-month old boy) and I chatted with my neighbor, something caught my eye in the stroller.\u00a0 My focus tightened. Then, I realized the little tike was dressed in… Blue Jean Diapers!<\/p>\n

After discussing this with Robyn, I learned that Huggies has an entire marketing program built around this new, chic line of “pee-pee” and “pooh-pooh” protection. In case you missed it, here is the flagship commercial for blue jean diapers that stimulated my thoughts of “Huh?”, “What?”, “No Way!”, “Can’t Be!” and “Really?”<\/p>\n

As I replayed the video, I became further amused by the script. Here it is:<\/p>\n

My diaper is full
\nFull of chic
\nWhen it’s a number two
\nI look like number one
\nI pooh in blue<\/p>\n

Seriously… Did you catch the last line? “I pooh in blue”.<\/p>\n

Interestingly enough, Chia Obama and Huggies’ Blue Jean Diapers are both limited items. Hmmmm. Now, why might that be?<\/p>\n
