{"id":24618,"date":"2018-05-31T12:43:57","date_gmt":"2018-05-31T17:43:57","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.heart-valve-surgery.com\/heart-surgery-blog\/?p=24618"},"modified":"2019-02-26T18:28:13","modified_gmt":"2019-02-26T23:28:13","slug":"videos","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.heart-valve-surgery.com\/heart-surgery-blog\/2018\/05\/31\/videos\/","title":{"rendered":"Our Videos Rocket Past 1.2 Million Playbacks!"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>This is unexpected&#8230;<\/p>\n<p>I just learned that <a href=\"https:\/\/www.heart-valve-surgery.com\/videos\/\">the 125+ educational videos<\/a> we created for the patients and the caregivers in our community just surged past 1,200,000 views in our\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/user\/HeartValveSurgery\/videos\">YouTube Channel<\/a>. \u00a0Woo-Whoo!!!<\/p>\n<p>What makes this milestone so interesting and (wonderful) is that we have not advertised any of our videos. \u00a0That&#8217;s right! \u00a0We have not paid for a single playback since launch.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-24678\" src=\"https:\/\/www.heart-valve-surgery.com\/heart-surgery-blog\/..\/Images\/heart-valve-surgey-videos-million.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"600\" height=\"800\" \/><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><!--more-->For me&#8230; It&#8217;s amazing to see how our video production capabilities have evolved since our first &#8220;Flip Cam&#8221; video was filmed with <a href=\"https:\/\/www.heart-valve-surgery.com\/surgeons\/dr-Richard-Shemin-Los+Angeles+-California.php\">Dr. Richard Shemin<\/a>\u00a0(see below) \u00a0in 2011 to our latest video <a href=\"https:\/\/www.heart-valve-surgery.com\/heart-surgery-blog\/2018\/05\/17\/dr-vinay-badhwar-robotic-mitral-repair\/\">filmed onsite<\/a> with Dr. Badhwar at WVU Heart &amp; Vascular Institute (see below) in 2018.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/XQxijc2qn4k\" width=\"560\" height=\"315\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/qlrCDjuszeA?controls=0&amp;showinfo=0\" width=\"560\" height=\"315\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Thanks to your interest and sponsor support, we are now able to make educational videos with a camera crew. \u00a0As a result, the video quality has gone way up just as the video playbacks have gone way up. \u00a0I&#8217;m so happy seeing how these educational videos are helping patients get empowered specific to their disease, their treatment options and their care providers.<\/p>\n<p>I need to thank our video team for their amazing work, their passion and their travels across the United States and abroad. \u00a0I&#8217;d also like to extend a special thanks to all the wonderful patients, care partners, surgeons, cardiologists, nurses, physician assistants, and medical device manufactures who have &#8220;starred&#8221; in our video productions. \u00a0Your stories and your insights are inspiring and educating the world!
