So you know, Natalie had a leaking <a href=\"https:\/\/www.heart-valve-surgery.com\/bicuspid-aortic-valve-symptoms.php\">bicuspid aortic valve<\/a>. Like many BAV patients, Natalie also needed her ascending aorta replaced with a Dacron Graft due to an aortic aneurysm.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp; <\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-17145\" alt=\"\" src=\"https:\/\/www.heart-valve-surgery.com\/heart-surgery-blog\/..\/Images\/natalie-ubelacher-patient.jpg\" width=\"403\" height=\"514\" \/>Natalie Uebelacker &#8211; Bicuspid Aortic Valve Patient<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp; <\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\"><!--more--><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">Natalie has been updating her Heart Valve Journal in the Patient Community section of the website. He was able to repair the valve instead of replace. This makes him cautiously optimistic that Natalie will not require another surgery later in life.
