"Dr. Katz answered all my questions and thoroughly explained the procedure to me and my husband. The care I received from him, his team, and the MUSC hospital was exceptional in every way. I did require a 4 day stay in the ICU because I retained quite a bit of fluid post-op, but this was taken care of. My bovine aortic valve has worked wonderfully, from the beginning and I have had no complications with my heart or anything else. I have no restrictions on my activities and have traveled overseas and even done some hiking on Mt. Rainier since my surgery. I recommend Dr. Mark Katz with no reservations!"

"Dr. Katz has performed over 200 heart transplants. First to use the Davinci robotic cardiac surgery technique. I would rate Dr Katz equivalent to any of the heart surgeons at the Cleveland Clinic. His resume is extremely impressive."
