Well I went for my results and actually this was my second opinion but with local drs. He just really confused me more...and i forgot to ask what my ero (i think thats right) number was. i have my reports from both drs....The first said thatmy mitro valve was thickened with myxomatus degeneration.w/mild rgurgitation..and that the tricuspid valve had just a trace of regurg.but the one i went to this time says the oposite...he said that the tricuspid valve had mild regurgitation. and that the mitro valve had mildly myxomatous(whatever that is) with trace of regurg... He doesnt seemed concerned with my symptoms at all...not even the fluid retention..he said that doesnt concern him..said if i could lose weight it would take care of that...mind you the whole reason i started this journey three years ago was heart rate and rapid weight gain of 3 to 5 plds a week...had some small thyroid problems but nothing consistant with anything..these sympotms have not improved, only worsened...I was very frustrated with him today..he did put a holter monitor on me but i think he only did that to pacify me...I had to ask him to order lab work..since it had been five months since last. I mean should I be concerned or now I am so frustrated that i just want to live with it and what happens will happen...I have went from 188 to 247 in 2 1/2 years..was very active/ eat right etc...IDK! he mentioned chronic fatigue syndrome..I dont think thats an issue and I have had so mny monitors that its seems a waste of money and time...It never catches the main fluttering...sorry to be so frustrated but I am at my witts end. said my mitral measurement was 0.5/4 and tricuspid was 1/4 regurg...so anyone know about that..

Well i go for my results tomorrow...little nervous..not sure what they are going to say.. I am afraid it may not be bad enough to fix yet...I dont know how much longer I can go on like this though..I want my energy back. I was very active before. I have gained alot of weight not being able to be as active as i used to be and I am ready to get back to my routine. Today at church I played a littl kick ball with my group and I have paid for it since..my heart has been palpitating ever since. i also have this kinda pressure or tightness on my left side shoulder , radiating up my neck..it just feels real tight..anyone else experience this? I am so thankful for this site. I think my husband has gotten so used to me not feeling well that he doesnt even comment anymore when I say something about it..so i am glad I found this journal to have an outlet.

ugh! Iam not feeling well at all today...swelling still constant and my resting rate is 98...with palpitations..my stomachhas seemed swollwn latily..did not know if this is a related symptom? I have had to take off wedding rings cause swelling has gotten where i cant get them off. when i listen to my heart with the stethescope it sounds like a bunch of racing horses! i am so afraid that when i go to dr that they will keep putting this off...I hope and pray not because it seems it has worsened. the other day when i had the echo she said it looked like i had an extra heart beat. anyone ever experienced that?

I feel terrible. so swollen....no energy.heart continuing to flutter no stop and beat wierd....I am a little anxious to see if the regurgitation has worsened..I sure feel like something is just not quiet right..I am debating a second opinion after this visit and with someone not in my local area...Does anyone know anything about Emory in Atlanta Ga? Had any experiences with them? just curious..its close to home. i just want to feel better and have more energy with my kids..its constant edemna with already trying laxis more than once..beta blockers more than once...ugh!
