Hello from Sweden! I was recently diagnosed with mitral regurgitation. This was a shock to me as I am 48 years old and have an uneventful healthy life. I guess that is a good thing. Anyways, my cardiologist told me that my mitral valve is leaking - moderate to severe and I may need surgery soon. Thanks for all of your stories on this website and Adam's blog.
