My Bestfriends brother died of sudden cardic death at 44.
he had a mitral valve replacement (mechanical) surgery 6 years ago, then he just died, and he was just checked by the cardiologist 6 days earlyer with a good bill of health tho he was complaining of vertigo all the time. they said his heart was fine and to still take his meds, menwhile oneday in the afternoon of he gos to a friends house and drops dead. He\'s family wanted an autopsy because how could he just die??
so it says: from the Autopsy report: he had a microscopic fibrosis of the heart that was severy the whole heart??? does anyone know what that means and why would they just find that out after he died?? why cant they do a test to see if and who would have it like myself and my bestfriend?? is it from surgery or is it from child heart disesies?
thes left ventricle shows hypertrophic changes, which includes are enlarged myocardial cells with prominent nuclei, there is extensive and diffuse myocardial fibrosos.. can some one please explain this to me?? why did this happen and what do\'s this mean?? will i have this too??? can someone please respond
thank you

there is so much i can say sense my last post.. i dont know where to begin, so im just going to say that most doctors dont know why you have all the bad after effects of surgery and why for so long? It seems to never stop. one doctor to another doctor, so then u just seem to fall in this downward spiril that u cant get out off, so you take more pills to ease the pain, nightmares and all the other damn post surgery crap you deal with daily... so i take it day by day, give it over to god, and try to be happy in everthing i see ,do and feel...to remember im alive for a reason and know i can help others and myself....hope, is very important always remember there is hope!.

Update: I still have not seen a neurologist due to my insurance, it seems to take months to see one and my appointment is not till December. But meanwhile, the pain in my right neck/jaw/arm, the artery pumping and causing pain, it comes and go\'s still through out the day. So Because I was getting no treatment and went into a downward spiral and for my sanity, I decided to see a Wellness, Holistic, Chiropractic Dr. He has but me on natural remedies like:
Cardio-plus / Paraplex / Caataplex B/ Superdigest/ Tuna Omega3 Oil and Deproloft supplements and I see him once a week for physical treatments. I will say, In just 3 weeks I feel so much better I have more energy, better mood, less stressed with just every day things and the pulsation in my right neck and jaw seems to lessen a lot to where I can feel like I can live a somewhat healthy normal life. I am off of a lot of my pills, the only medication am taking is my high blood pressure pill daily and Only ONE Xanax at night to help with settling down from the day, hopefully that will stop too. I have in my drawer on my bedside, 8 different types of heavy medications (band aids) I was taking daily before, and to think I am now only taking 2, it is really really great…If you want try the Holistic approach check out your local Wellness centers and do some investigating and get knowledgeable about alternative medicine and give it a try, life is awesome when u feel good, but let your Cardiologist know so the wellness doctor and your Cardio doctor can talk if need be.
If anyone lives here in Los Angeles Ca and wants to get off of most your killer Band aids, Here is info:

Well I was in the hospital again but this time for 5 days due to the severe pain in my right neck, jaw and arm; they did a echocardiogram, CT scan and a MRI on my chest and right neck. Dr Shaw at Cedars Sinai who is one of the head cardiac doctors, told me that my heart, aorta valve and Aorta drocon graft with all the arteries and blood vassels look great with great blood flow, but I have 45% calcification in one of my left arteries of the heart but it is mild and nothing to worry about? hmm. As for the severe pain in my neck and jaw, they think it is nerve pain due to post surgery and that it is from my pulse hitting a nerve in my neck, they really don’t know. So far no surgery for the new valve, and that is great news!! but the pain in my neck and jaw, it is so bad,I have to figure out what is causing it. Right now i am unable to do anything, im on heavy pain killers and they do nothing, so it is really frustrating. Going to see a neurologist, will keep u updated
