Update on my progress. I feel pretty good. My incision healed beautufully and I'm not trying to hide my little 4 inch scar. I'ts smooth and flat with a little sheen. I'm still experiencing occasional sharp pains where I imagine my mitral valve is and It may be due to my BP fluctuating since coming back to work. Stress and I'm considering anti anxiety meds again to help unconcious stress. I consulted with my doctors and they have upped my lisinipril to 20 mg and I'm taking metapropol. My lower number continues to be high. Any tips on that? I'm concerned about this because I want that aortic valve and my mitral repair to last as long as possible. I hear in the next 10 years they will be replacing those biological valves through the arteries. I'll probably have to fly to Dubai as my surheon is now head of thoracic surgery there. That man is amazing. Anyway...I am trying to be as normal as possible returning to normal activities. I walk everyday even though this has been a challenge with this hot hot weather. I am on a low salt low sodium diet and I don't even miss the salt. Life has new meanining. I'm happy I had my surgrey and I appreciate all of you who have signed my guestbook shaing part of yourself with me. Mona
