Tim Alonso Hi...I just had aortic valve replacement two weeks ago, got home one week ago. Cannot push-pull-lift anything over 5 pounds with my arms for 3 weeks. Then start PT for a month at least. I am walking around the perimeter of my one acre property..walk-walk-walk. Medications include 200 mg amiodarone, tylenol and a sleeping pill at night. My biggest problem has been the soreness between my shoulder blades.

Christine Oliva Tim this will go away soon especially if you are walking around and loosen up those muscles. Try not to slouch, sit straight and it will come quicker, in a week or two you will really start to notice the difference. less pain/sleeping meds necessary. You are on your way so keep on getting better and blessings to you.
