By the way, does anybody know of any good heart surgeons in Flordia? I'm looking for someone in the Fort Lauderdale area who has ALOT of experience with mitral regurgitation. I know Dr. Adams is a whiz up in New York. but, I'd like to find some locally. Thanks, Laura

So, this is my first journal. My cardiologist says I may not need surgery for another 10 years but I want to make sure I know what to expect. I'll be back soon as I think this website will be very helpful down the road. Talk to you soon, Laura
