Sharing Words Of Encouragement

December 23, 2012

“Miracles happen every day, because God is real….”

The night before my open-heart/valve replacement surgery I became overwhelmed with fear & frustration.

When the chaplain prayed with us in the front lobby of the hospital ( before the surgery), I released the negative emotions. God filled me with hope, peace, love & strength to face my surgical procedure.

After one open-heart & two pace maker surgeries plus coping with daily health challenges, I continue to lean on God for:everything.

Miracles happen every day because God is real. My life is living proof of his healing power. He receives all the honor & praise.

My goal for 2013..

I plan to reach more cardiac patients & their families by sharing my Inspirational Journal & heart testimony throughout the community.

I dedicate my heart story to ALL the survivors in the community who continue to keep moving forward.

Reflections..

April 3, 2012

I would like to share the following message with anyone seeking encouragement today….

When we drove to the hospital ( 38 months ago), for my open heart surgery, I was afraid of what was getting ready to take place .

I had allot to think about, during the drive to the hospital : How long will I stay in the hospital, the time frame for my recovery period, coping with the transition etc..

I made up in my mind before the procedure, that I would pray to God for strength & courage to face the surgery. The hospital representative contacted the chaplain. He met us in the front lobby of the hospital & we began praying. After the prayer session, I’m happy to say that I was no longer afraid. For the first time , I began trusting God with my life: 100%.

After my procedure, someone asked me the following question: “ What are your plans?
my response: to share the good news about God’s healing power with the community & help cardiac patients & their families cope with the recovery process.

Mark 11:22-24 (NKJV)
22 So Jesus answered and said to them, “Have faith in God. 23 For assuredly, I say to you, whoever says to this mountain, ‘Be removed and be cast into the sea,’ and does not doubt in his heart, but believes that those things he says will be done, he will have whatever he says. 24 Therefore I say to you, whatever things you ask when you pray, believe that you receive them, and you will have them.

Matthew 9:22 (NKJV)
22 But Jesus turned around, and when He saw her He said, “Be of good cheer, daughter; your faith has made you well.” And the woman was made well from that hou
I know, without a doubt that God is a healer.

Despite whatever you may face: Never, never give up: your breakthrough is just around the corner.

Thanks for being part of my journey.

Have a beautiful day

E) God promised never to leave me alone. He IS true to his word.

F) My loving husband, beautiful son & daughter, family/relatives, Pastor, Church Family, Medical Staff, Radical Love Family & wonderful circle of amazing friends, continue to provide encouraging words.

G) I look forward to sharing more stories of “ VICTORY” with the community,

“FAITH will cause you to please God. We go through certain things for the sake of others.”

“FAITH will cause you to prepare for the move of God. Focus on pleasing God, not man
( every day). Our FAITH in God makes us righteous.”

“We must be willing to take the first step: ACT OF FAITH.”

“When you’re obedient to God, he will bless you. God blesses you to be a blessing to others.”
