Christmas Holiday Season 2013I give God ALL the honor & praise for keeping me in the palm of his hands. For the past 58 months, I survived three surgical procedures , experienced numerous health setbacks, cope with daily health challenges plus face additional procedures in the future re; my pace maker. When I experience low moments, God provides me with the strength & courage to press through to help someone in need while I’m dealing with my own health struggles. I’m glad the good days outweigh the low moments.
Thanksgiving 2013I’m thankful for……..
"GRATITUDE"I thank God for helping me recover from another setback which happened a couple of weeks ago. I appreciate all of your prayers & support. Despite my health condition ( low endurance, shortness of breath, anemia etc.), I remain committed to promoting heart awareness throughout the community.
"Shine On"I would like to encourage anyone facing health challenges to “ LET YOUR LIGHT SHINE” every day.

Never, Never Give Up..Sharing Words Of Encouragement…
My Journey....Three years ago,( February 12th, 2009), I received a new heart valve. Four days later, I received a pace maker due to heart blockage. June 23rd, 2010, my third surgery took place: pace maker revision. I continue to experience health challenges on a daily basis. I made a decision in the hospital not to give up , accept what took place ( 3 surgeries in 36 months) and share the good news about my healing with the community. I give God all the honor & praise for what is taking place in my life. I’m so grateful for the support I continue to receive from my loving husband, beautiful children, family/relatives, Pastor Curney, First Lady Curney, & the entire church family, neighbors, medical staff, Radical Love Family, Margaret Winn Holt Elementary faculty & staff and a host of amazing friends.
Today we celebrate my birthday! ( 45 years-old)Hello. I hope all is well with you & your family.
