Sorry it took a while to get back on here and update you all, it's been a rough couple of days but the good news is as follows; surgery was a success no complications, it's day 3 and I'm now laying in my ward bed with nothing more than my wound dressing and stitches attached... Yep, the drains and lines are all out and they've even removed my heart monitor. I've been cruising around waking the ward and getting my lung capacity back up. If he doctors are pleased I could be out of here in a couple days :) thanks again for all the support guys it means alot!!! Updates again asap

I'm due to be admitted for the second time tomorrow to have my valve replacement surgery the following day, it's my second time being admitted. The first time I was sent home because of an emergency surgery coming in. That sucked. I'm trying to stay positive about everything and just want the whole ordeal to be over and done with. I'll try and post a few pictures and updates on how it all goes.

Kerryn Edwards Thanks guys, I appreciate the support. I'm lying in my hospital bed at the moment (7pm) with the surgery set to be done first thing in the morning. Had all my pre-op tests which have all been good. It's up to the surgeon to work his magic now!
