It's all done and I have just returned home ! I'm so sorry I haven't been able to update! I am doing well in discomfort and have some fluid on my lungs! My tricuspid valve was repaired and my bidirectional Glenn went well! However I have received some sympathic nerve damage! And have what's called horners syndrome! It affects the eye! It is a very mild case I'm told!! My eyelid on my left is slightly closed and the pupil dilated.....but other than that I'm doing alright!! I was I'm hospital for 7 days! The first 3 was a blur and from then on I've felt an improvement!! My legs feel a little like bambi's and I'm a little shaky! My scar is starting to heal over nicely too...still taking pain killers every 4-6 hours!!! Baby steps every day! Lots of love xxxx

Arghhh!!! I was admitted yesterday! Had all pre op check's then was woken at 5:30am this morning for my antiseptic shower ready for my surgery at 8am I changed into my gown and was set to go!! then at 7am my nurse arrived with the news that my surgeon had Been taken sick! And that my surgery wouldn't be taking place!!! I am totally gutted to have got to 1 hour before surgery only to be sent home!!! I wish Dr Anderson a very speedy recovery!! But believe in the fates!! Today was not ment to be!! I have so many wonderful family members and friend's who have been a constant support and who have sent their love and best wishes!! I will hold onto the love and positive energy for another 2 weeks!!! New date Friday 25 february xxxx
