hey.. Its just about 3 weeks post-op.. i had heart and brain surgery at upmc in pitsburgh and they were great. They opened me up twice because i had a clot 2 days after my aortic valve surgery. I was just wondering if this has happened to anyone else after heart surgery. I am still in alot of pain and i just heard some weird crack noise when i went to lay down.. hopefully everything is ok!! They have me on oxycontin 60 mg a day and percocet 5mg for breakthrough pain becuase i am an EX drug addict and very tollerent to pain pills. I was also wondering from anyone how long they were in pain for after surgery. I am only 24 years old am a little baby when i comes to pain. I was also wondering how long people were on pain killers after surgery. thanks to anyone who answers any of the question that i have it would be a alot of help.. im very concerned and do not know alot about this..!!
