Once you get past the removal of the chest tubes, the weakness associated with the trauma of surgery, drinking that "yucky" liquid potassium, being stuck in the abdomen with injections to prevent clotting, and putting pressure on your chest when you cough to prevent the "zipper" from unzipping you're going to feel like the bionic man! Hard to belive initially but it'll happen. You're going to be surprised by how quickly you'll bounce back from it all. Best wishes from your coworkers at Hess, and our thanks to all who have been keeping us updated as to progress....
