Hi Nancy
Glad to hear you are improving. Being with your grandkids has to be one of the best medicines ever.
I had my 2nd session of PT with Hazel today. She shared the story about Phil saying you always wanted an exclamation mark on your chest. That mark is a small price to pay to be where you are today. Thank God for medical technology. Can't wait to hug you with both of my arms. Take care and mind your daughter. hugs Shelly

Love, you. So glad you're on the mend.
Have an awesome day. Tim & I are going to see Cirque du Soleil tonight. Saw an amazing woman last night that just happens to live in Charlotte. Check out http://www.maudy.com. She confirmed that where we live is holy ground and that becoming a retreat center for healing is what the land and past shamans want it to become. Woo Wee!! Love you, Ellen

Nancy,
Good to hear of your "valve adjustment", Dennis was particularly good to hear you have a skilled heart mechanic! Will be at Wilson Ranch this weekend retreating with my niece. She eagerly agreed that she'll have to return another time to meet you. We are glad to have a little time with other Wilson clan. All good wishes for healing...its hard work, now?! So Nancy,
This is how long it takes for news to travel from Fossil to Beaverton...actually we had to go to Fossil to get the latest.
You can imagine how shocked we were to hear all that has been going on with you. But how grateful we are now to read that you are on the mend. We look forward to seeing your smiling face soon.

We got our PO box number yesterday and I set up a bank account while we were in town. Today, back in the big city, we are busy packing and making phone calls to all those who must be informed of our move. We both look forward to the time we make that drive for the final time...and can call Fossil home and you & Phil our very good neighbors.

You take care girl. We'll see you soon enough.

Much love and prayers for health and wellness,
Steve & Christine

Good Morning Nancy,
It is Tuesday and I am back at work so I have access to a computer. This weekend was busy with a meeting at osu saturday morning (Horse Advisory Board 4-H) Amy was there by phone video. Hurried home to change clothes and attend Miss Rodeo Oregon coronation at Spirit Mt Casino. It was great with lots of friends and many visiting queens and courts. The Fossil Queen was there, cute girl from Madras. I took my brother and he actually wore a cowboy hat (one of mine) he had a great time and it was good for him to get out after the stunt Laurie pulled. They are offically divorced. You guys will get to meet him one of these days. Sunday was work at home day and then go for chinese food with Mom and Earl. Have to go to a meeting Finish later.

Nancy: it is so great hearing about each day of recovery. I think of it as the road to Fossil. My high school class of 1969 celebrated our 60th birthdays together in Idaho this past weekend. What a great way to spend the weekend. I have so enjoyed your journey and thought you'd like to hear about my weekend.

Nancy, Sounds like you have been on a roller coaster. I hope everything will soon smooth out and everyday is a little better than the last. This will make your heart feel all warm and happy; Emory and his first born, Mike just spent another great weekend together in Las Vegas! This is their second Nascar Adventure in the past four months. We are so blessed to have both of the boys back into our lives. They are awesome young men :-)

Nancy, You have got to look into getting a Earthing mat. The book has a gazillion testimonials about regulating heartbeat, coumadin levels etc. It was written by a cardiologist with more than 30 years experience. You can read the book on the website or at least leaf through it to the heart section. It's a natural blood thinner. There is probably no accident that this book arrived in my life at this time to pass the info on to you.
Love you and send you a big hug.

Hey Nancy, We are off this afternoon to sell the
heifers and maybe buy some calves. I may wait a couple of weeks to buy the calves, I need to repair a few sections of fence.
Audrey had two sleepovers this weekend, so Emily and I got in some valuable alone time. We also did three cookie booths - at walmart and walgreens.
I hope you are feeling better. Love, Frank

Nancy - We're SO glad to keep up with your progress and to hear your lovely spirit in your words! I showed my folks (Terry and Chuck) your entries when I was out there visiting as a surprise last weekend with Chip and Cate. They were deeply moved by the experience (although apparently not enough to consider getting online... : ) ). Can't wait to see you in April when we surprise Mom again in your company. Huge virtual hugs until then.

Much love to you and to your family,

Hey Nancy Girl--

I just love your journal notes and am thrilled that each day you are getting back to your young self. That you want to see your dogs and horse is a good thing. I will be praying for your thick blood...God is awesome and can do all things including helping the doctors get it figured out. Probably He's just giving you something to get yourself out of the house..doctors appts an all. Kidding. What a blessing your Milne is and her family. Imagine if she didn't live where she lives what your recovery journey would be like. So many times, I think "Did He have this planned out just for me?" My answer is always I am sure He did but it is never just for me...He provides all that I need while coordinating with the needs of as many other people as possible. Well, that's probably a bit too complicated for anyone to understand but that's how my mind thinks and that's why I don't share my thoughts too often. I get tired of seeing people shake their head and say "What????" :)

Have a blessed Sunday!

Much love,

Kellie

Hi Nancy,
I saw Dixie last night and wanted to take her in the house with me. She was sitting on a lap contented. I told Demi that Dave's doe had a little doe kid last night. I saw it today and it is very cute and healthy. Now if we can get all our does to do the same thing. You must have been tired because you didn't write for the third until late. Have a great day and keep up the good work. Remember one thing, getting better is the hardest work you will ever do, because your body doesn't like to do the work. I know you will win though. Can't wait to see you home over here.

Hi Nancy,
Went to a funeral of a friend's mother from childhood in Columbia. Carpooled with a friend from Durham. A whole generation is dying off. Love and miss you and so glad you're doing well.

Miss Nancy and Crew,
Good to hear you are staying on the road to recovery.
I wasn't supposed to say anything because Milne confided in me but I have to tell you the truth. Milne called and said she was going to leave you at Whole Foods and hope you got the hint. I talked her out of it but from now on I would carry a cell phone and cab fare whenever you go anywhere with Milne.

Good Morning. It is so wonderful to read about how you are getting so much better. I think about you all the time. Mother called last night, said she had been trying to call you at Milne's and was unsuccessful. If you have time and feel like it, give her a call. Here is her new number at the apartment is 541-677-1360 and her cell is 541-378-7699. I do hope she is able to tell you how much she loves you. Speaking of Mother, she really likes her new apartment and since getting out of the hospital she has gone from 83 pounds to a 95 pounds. We need her to gain more weight. Our plan is to take her to the coast in a few weeks (I am hopeful the whole family can be there). Well, I am off to work and later today to Hermiston to see my Granddaughter. Milne is you have a spare minute, I know that Mandy could use your support. Love to all of you. Please let Phil know that if he needs any help, I am here and only a phone call away.

Nancy,
Heartwarming to hear of your progress, bit by bit, and that;s great progress! Sweet stories of your kids and grandkids - that beautiful energy really shows in the stories of your days of recovery! Heard chicks in the post office this week so a new beginning spring is around the corner, just in time for your strong heart to be out in it, soon. Many hugs, Mary and Dennis

Hello Nancy, Julie told me about the latest health situation of the Wilson family. I have enjoyed reading your posts and it sounds like you are on the mend. Those grandkids will help you along the mending journey, they are great motivators. I played WII games with mine a month or so ago and they were pretty impressed that Grandma could do it. I, too am headed to the MRO coronation at Spirit Mountain. We have started calving, only a few on the ground so far and am expecting a colt later in April. I really enjoy our visits and being at the B&B. You and your family are in my thoughts. Best wishes. Charlene Morris
On March 2, 2011...
Nancy, I thank God you are doing so well. I remember helping take out a chest tube and feel bad for you, just think, you are a pioneer woman and can take it, right? (smile) I read all your posts after finding the site and put you in my favorites. Maybe you should have them bring you some good eggs to eat. I will see you soon as you are a survivor. Will keep you in our prayers. I told Hope and she was surprised. Keep up the good work. Oh, if you take a wet warm towel and put vinegar on it and then put it on your bruises, it will help take the pain and the bruises away. You can keep it in a plastic bag to use again. Use as much as possible. I don't think you will mind the smell since you don't mind running around with your gown open in the back. You are loved, come home soon. Sandy
Nancy Wilson  Sandy,
Mom brought your eggs with her and is eating them every day. Thank you!

Good Morning Nancy,
It is so good to hear you sound like your old self even if it isn't in person. I'm sure it will be a great time this evening with Kara and the kids there to cheer you up and keep you laughing. It is not raining as steady today so the field will lose some of its lake. Mom said to say Hi and hopes you will be ready to go for a ride with her this fall!! I am taking brother Earl with me to the Miss Rodeo Oregon coronation at Spirit Mountain Casino this saturday night. McKenzie is going to be/is such a wonderful young lady and represents the State of Oregon very well. I will also attend my first meeting of the State 4-H horse advisory board that morning. I am excited as appointment will last for 3 years. I guess I am just rambling, but you take care and keep getting better everyday. Love you Julie Singer

So good to hear you are feeling stronger today! I am playing nurse today also, with Corey home sick with the flu:-( Thanks to the help of a good neighbor, I got Ryann over to her school, and hopefully that good neighbor will return for me to go and pick her up. We also have a swimming lesson at 4 pm; not sure how we are going to figure that one out. So, as you can tell, the news that you are feeling so much better today was very good news around here!

Miss Nancy,
Keep getting better-we are counting on you!
I was just wonderning if you mistakenly sent me a check would you really expect me not to cash it but actually send it back or even tell you? Now I have something to maybe look forward to and will be checking the mail everyday! I wonder if the extra time it will take to look for your check mistake will be worth the effort? Since all my mail is usually bills and most are marked past due I have the recycle can right next to the mailbox and just scoop the mail straight into the container. Hey at least I recycle.
Get 'gooder' real soon-please.

Glad to hear all is going as Great As Great can get! We have sure been busy in Floirda. I'm working at the Citrus Animal Shelter and can I tell you some stories. One day this guy
is walking around his house naked and I guess his pit bull dog didn't like it and bit the man on the you know what! Now try going to the ER at the hospital and telling the doctors what happened. And on top of that having to file a dog bit report at Animal Services because we are the county.
Timothy is going to USF (Ducks)in Tampa. Ms. Kirby is a Senior this year and will be going to Univ. of Florida in Gainesville
(Gators) this year. Kirby will be showing her steer at the fair in March. Last year she came in third out of 77 steers. Not bad. Tim is still working on the road during the week. Can't wait to retire. Yea right! Mom had her 90th Birthday party at George's in Z-Hills. MoM's still driving and living on her own! Christopher is living in Salem. He's having fun being newly married. We just LOVE his wife Karen.Chris tries to come on down to Florida when we all get really home sick and we try to go up there as well. I see Dale and Ross Nolen moving to AR. I think Audrey went with them also.
Well now Sister you rest up and sing a song and do a little shuffle and just to let you know we think and talk about you and your family often so you are never far from our hearts.
Love to You and Your Family,
