Babs, so sorry to hear that Nancy is having such a rough time. I continue to pray that she will turn around and start to make great progress. Do you mind if I put her name on our prayer list at church? I can make it anonymous, but when I pray, I like to be specific, not that the Lord doesn't already know who I'm praying for, but I just do. Let me know when you get the chance if it is okay. In the meantime, I pray that our heavenly Father will take this situation over, guide the physicians in the right direction and wrap your mom in His loving arms of comfort and complete peace. I pray too for relief, rest and peace of mind for you and your family. Amen.

Dear Nancy,
Well, Christmas 2011 is behind us. Guess you found it difficult to believe it was here and gone! Even though the timing was not right, we know the hospital was the place for you this year. The sooner you had the operation, the sooner your life will be back to as normal as possible. Did you have your ice cream treat yet?? Hope it agreed with your system. I will not be up to the hospital to see you. I had a bad fall off a three foot ledge in our garage Dec. 3rd. Although no bones were broken, it jolted my whole body, and I am cut and bruised in many places. It hurts to walk. Time will heal. The same goes for you, Nancy, "time will heal". If there is anything Don and I can do for you and Babs when you get home, please let us know.

Passed by and saw lights on in your home,must have been Babs, thought maybe you were home, was going to check on you today, Sat. Figured I'd check your website first, glad I did.
Mickie is back at the nursing home, was able to see her yesterday for a short time.

Well, you decided to spend Christmas away...that's okay...Teddy did one Christmas not long ago...I think you two just like the big old heart suite and staying away from home. I left a poinsettia outside your front door today for you to enjoy (thought you might be coming home). Anyway, Babs can enjoy and/or take to you, if she would. I'm trying not to spread my germs since I've been sick now going on 3 weeks with a cough and cold. Hurry home!!!!!!

It was good to hear your voice, have been running around as usual. Visited the ladies from Carolina House yesterday as well as worked at the church, we had a little Birthday party for Jean.
Mickie is in the hospital with pneumona and urionary track infection, her daughter does not want visiters, today is her B'day. Hope to see you soon.
