Thanks for the update, Friday it is. Long wait. Waiting is not an easy thing to do. I had to wait from Jan 3rd when I was given my surgical date of March 18th. God had to teach me patience. Next week at this time you'll have it all behind you and they will be planning your discharge. Be peaceful. You are in my prayers.

Don't know if you'll get to read this before your surgery tomorrow. You sound calm and are up to the task. It's all in God and the doctor's hands tomorrow and you will do well. Can't believe I am 12 days post op with a new mitral valve and tricuspid repair. Thought they would have to repair the aortic, but it was okay. Three valves would have been something. Hope someone will post for you so we get positive updates. You'll "sleep" through it all, it's harder on loved ones who are waiting.Prayers to you.

I was so happy to see you last night. You know that all of us will be thinking about you on Wednesday. Thank you re the up-date. Glad you're now on medical leave and really sorry it's taking so long to get a hospital booking. Won't be long now I bet, my friend Myrna just called, she's having her heart surgery on Monday and you/she were doctoring about the same time.

Hi Crystal
Hope your wait is not too long. I am at the Cleveland Clinic right now and will have my surgery tomorrow. Dr Gillinov will replace 2 valves, mitral and aortic and repair my tricuspid (didn't know about that one till I met him an hour ago). I was given my surgical date back on January 4th so God has taught me patience as I have waited. If I chose to have the surgery in FL where I live the surgery would most likely have been done in Jan. But this is where I need to be and I have no doubts. I will be following your journey post op. So, keep posting. Good luck.
